I guess being stuck here in North Georgia I will just have to settle for Long John Silvers tonight but I like it. Hope both of you have a great weekend and safe travels. Hope to see more videos soon.
I LOVE WATCHING YOUR CHANNEL YOU REMIND ME OF MY WIFE AND MYSELF WE WERE MARRIED IN MB JUST A LITTLE WAYS DOWN THE BEACH HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE GOD BLESS YOU AND THINKS FOR THE REVIEW OF THE FOOD MY WIFE REFUSES TO EVEN TRY CRAWDADS OR OSTERS THANKS
Captain Georges is my favorite seafood buffet. My late husband and I loved Captain Georges so much. I usually get a few shrimp, prime rib and all the crab legs I can eat. I have never eaten at this Captain Georges but i have eaten at the ones in Kill Devil Hills, Virginia Beach and Williamsburg many times. We always had a wonderful dining experience at each restaurant. Brings back happy memories of our times there with our families. But makes me sad also that I can no longer experience this with my best friend.
Thank you for watching, and we are so very sorry for your loss. I know this video must have brought back some memories for you. They did not have prime rib at this one. I don't know if that's just because it was a Thursday night, and maybe that's something they do on weekends? I feel that if they're going to charge the same price the other nights, they ought to have the same food. But that's just me.
That's right! I had forgotten about y'all being in Little River now. Just had lunch at Hurricane Jule's a little bit ago. We're actually out on Cherry Grove now.
@@NCMemoryMakers That's so awesome! We go to Cherry Grove Beach often! We're getting ready to head to Dollywood and Gatlinburg this weekend. Hope to see you both soon!
@@NCMemoryMakers the way she put her head on you I knew you two probably over did it but at that price you have to lol hope the weekend is going 👍 stay Blessed
@@dpmart3275 Yes, we both were feeling pretty miserable after that. And for that money, you do feel like you have to get your money's worth. That's for sure. That's a lot of money for a seafood buffet.
Hi! You two are adorable. I’m new to your channel but not new to Myrtle Beach. We go there at least once a year, sometimes two times. We’ve been to the Virginia Beach Captain George’s countless times when we lived there but we’ve never eaten at the Myrtle Beach location. It looks like they must have been at the end of the night because most of the trays were almost empty. I’m glad you tried new things and found things you liked. You both are genuine folks and I’m sure you would be a hoot to hang with. We’ll be there mid August for the very first time. We’re bringing our niece and her husband. They’ve never been there. We can’t wait to show them around. After watching your video, we just may go to CG’s. We usually come just before spring break and Memorial Day weekend. Everything is opened, but it’s not too crowded or too hot. I hope we survive the heat. 😅 Again… loved you two and your video. I subscribed. Hope you reach your next goal. You’re almost there… 9K and counting. 😊
Yes, we did get there late. I want to say that it was around 7:00 p.m. or later, and I also remember that we were there for quite a while. Almost up until closing. Thank you so much for watching, for subscribing, and most of all, for taking the time to let us know that you enjoy our videos. That means a lot to us. We hope you have a wonderful trip to the area, and if you do go to Captain George's or any other place that we've reviewed there, we would love to know what you think of it. Again, thank you, and have a blessed day.
Good to see y’all in Myrtle beach again. My wife and I don’t do buffets anymore. If you have time when you come to this area try and go to Good Fellas sea food hut. It’s located in windy hill beside kilgs kites. If you go go at lunch, They have a lunch specials. They also have won awards with their she crab soup. It’s not a buffet, has a regular menu and lunch specials. We been going there since they open. May be sometime just stop by and try it. Enjoy your stay. ( Iam sorry I forgot you don’t eat onions. I do think there is onions in the hush puppy’s. )
Never tried crab legs..my Mom loved them. I do enjoy crab cakes and fried gulf shrimp. When we were at Garden City a month ago, we found a wonderful place just over in Surfside..Bubbas fish shack..it was excellent. We went back a second time the night before we came home. Both of us got the gulf shrimp. I don’t think I could do buffets again. My appetite has pretty much been cut in half since going on Keto 2 years ago. I also don’t eat anything after 6 pm. Enjoyed the video. Have a safe and blessed weekend.
I have eaten there before what I had was good but my personal opinion I think they're a little bit pricey and they could not keep the bar full if you are paying that much money I think they need to keep the bar full at all times keep up the good work work
Yes, it is definitely pricey. I mainly wanted to try it one time, for the crab legs. There were several things empty my first trip up to the bar, but I think they did fill those.
Never taste yet crab legs, lobster 🦞 Always love seafood just fish, Atlantic cod and chicken tenders. Mom and I will try taste lobster and crab legs. 🤔
I’m sorry if you enjoyed it, but this place was absolutely horrible. Especially for the price. You would think for the price your drink would be included. It wasn’t. There really are a whole lot of better options to eat at. Check out Biminis just north of there. It’s fabulous. Great seafood, steam pots, drinks, etc. Great food for less money. We visit Biminis twice in the week we’re there. Give it a try.
I enjoyed it, because of the various types of crab legs that I could get, especially the Cajun ones. That's not available everywhere. I'm sorry if your experience was horrible, but that is just your experience and your opinion. Our experience and opinion is very different. We enjoyed it. And lots of people do. It's a little strange to begin a comment by saying that you are sorry someone enjoyed something. Wouldn't it be better to say that you are glad they enjoyed it?
THE QUSTION IS THE FISH CAUGHT IN SC OCEAN OR IMPORTANT. GOD BLESS IF NOT CAUGHT IN USA LET EVERYBODY KNOW WHERE WE CAN FIND THE FISH CAUGHT IN NC OR SC THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME. GOD BLESS
I like the looks of the place. I don't ever have luck with crab legs, their always to soft. I would eat what seafood I wanted but leave off the desserts,
I guess whether it's worth the price, depends upon the individual. I like the fact that they had the Cajun crab legs here, which is not something all of them carry. Plus, their dessert selection is some of the best I've seen. To some people, it may not be worth it.
But please do direct me to an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet, that is 1/4 the price. Captain George's was right under $50. You're actually telling me that there is a seafood buffet that serves crab legs in any of these areas, for about $12.50? Do tell me where that's at, please.
