The way it curled up at 4:44 looks very similar to the 2018 mask!!! Funny I've always heard people say "2018 mask is stylized, latex doesn't wrinkle like that" but this just made it a Lot more realistic for me!
Thinking about it, crime analytics must've put that thing through so many chemical cleans to get dna off of it that it left permanent scars from the flashing
Not sure why I hadn't subscribed by now, but I love what you do with these masks! There's something so compelling about the original 1978 Myers mask. Fun fact: a couple thousand years ago, some Roman soldiers would wear plain, silver masks, affixed to their helmets, bearing that identical (lack of) expression; they found at least one such mask near the village of Kalkriese. Their enemies would see their wounds reflected in the silver, and that terrified them. In a way, I think Myers' mask is quite similar; with no emotion to understand or reflect upon, you're left utterly alone within your own terror and despair as he hunts you. ...or something like that. I feel like that's a problem with TOTS masks. While they're amazingly made, they're all made to fit a specific size of head. I got my 2018 Michael Myers mask last year and it was a bit tight around my head. I wish they could make size variations so that their masks can fit nicely on anybody's head.
Same im a kid and i just got a new micheal myers mask but both of my masks are way too big. They are too big that the neck of tha masks rest on my shoulders
If they are too tight, there is that slit in the back with a hole punch at the top. Punch the hole higher and continue to cut the slit up to the new hole, and it should be more loose. If it is too loose, you could probably glue or sew the slit shut.
@@AlexTheAvgeekwell that is an exception and i have got the same problem. I got my 2018 mask a few years ago when i was like 12 or something i dont really remember but it was way too big, but now it fits me almost perfectly. I am 14 at the moment so i will still grow and eventually the mask will become too small for me. So do not be mistaken, you just have to wait a few years. I also got the new 92 murder mask from trick or treat studios from the 2007 rob zombie halloween remake. It arrived a few days ago and its quite a bit bigger but its still the same deal. Just gotta wait
You think they'd do kids sizes, as many children would want one for cosplay and parties and trick or treating. They could advertise them as kids sizes from small aged 5 to7 medium 8 to 10 and large 11 to 14. They'd sell them. You can always pad them out inside the mask to fit with sponge or of all things ladies leak pads. But the mask even then looks too big for a child's head. And be affordable for mom's selling them cheaper 35 dollars or pounds.
Hey man. Great job first of all. I agree the eye cuts are a pain. The mask fits you really well too. You should do a complete Halloween 78 costume for Halloween.

IT'S SO PERFECT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT,,,, oh my lord you have perfected this craft,,,, oh MAN I really wanna know the SCIENCE of why the very first (1978) mask was the BEST one, because it absolutely is and maybe it's the best BECAUSE it's the original? But why is it so hard to recreate? This is a million times better than any of the recreations for any of the subsequent movies (barring the 2018 requel, which is sort of a different look for obvious reasons - age and weathering) and oh my gawsh I hope you are employed by a film studio and i want that mask SO BADLY
ALSO PS unfortunately i could not put it on my instagram story, but I sent it to a bunch of my friends and i shared it on all my other social medias!! Also! I'm sure there's a good chance you've already done/tried/thought of this, but to get the darker eye hole effect, I'd recomment just doing eyeshadow on your face! Darken your skin tone and it'll... maybe? look more michaelly? I have a TOTS Halloween H20 mask and one of the eye holes was really wonky! I can tell right away that you were a lot careful than whomever cut the eye holes on my mask.
Nice rehaul. Love the addition to detail. I was always so scared to do a rehaul on a Kirk mask because debra hill and tommy Lee wallace kinda winged it but over all this mask looks epic and damn near screen accurate. Love and light to ya and I'm glad you made it home safe from your cruise.
I have the same problem of my head being too big to hide my eyes- I wear a morph suit mask underneath so the eye holes are just blackness and I think it looks pretty good

Agreeing with everyone that it’s a great job. Love Halloween 1978. By the way, (fun fact) the original mask wasn’t actually Captain Kirk. It was William Shatner, but it was from a 1975 horror movie he made called The Devil’s Rain.
Awesome job! I have a couple different masks that I redone. I have a Michael Myers from Halloween 2 that I got from party city. And a Jason Voorhees hockey mask I ordered online.
I never thought I’d see ball sack skin on a Micheal myers mask 4:44 Edit: You did good on the eye cuts! I remember one day my friend wanted me to make a myers mask for his short film, So I took a Tots CK mask and I absolutely screwed the eye cuts! It looked like the h5 mask when I was done with it, But I fixed it by telling my friend I’d give him the money to buy another Kirk mask and send it to me…..
Just preordered a "Halloween 4" mask. Can't wait to get it for Halloween! It's looks great on the website, so I'm hoping it'll look just as great when I get it in the mail.

Great job. Really plan on doing something like this once I can. One thing to help with the eyes is if you can. Put your eyes just above the eye cuts, so your eyes are in the shadows more.
Looks like the Halloween 2 mask. Maybe because of your face, how it stretches the mask, which is exactly what happened to the guy behind the mask in Halloween 2, he also had a big face. But really cool👍🏼
Great video I wanna try and learn how to rehaul myself and I feel like this video was a great way for me to learn , micheal myers is my favourite horror killer and I want to do this myself
H20 for sure , you can always make another one to make it more look like the 78 , you can make another one and another one as many as your little heart desires😊👍
