a girl at my summer camp sang this at worship and i dont know why, i collapsed and i couldnt stop myself from crying in front of over 200+ people, it was the best feeling, and then some huge tongan guy came up and put one hand on my back and one on my chest and prayed for me and then he cried with me.............. i feel so different about God now, i feel like he notices me, anyone else ever experienced this?

Praise the Lord that He made His presence known to you! I've gone through that before! I believe when He does this, people react differently. Some clap their hands...others cry...others begin to pray in the spirit and worship Him that way. That was your spirit acknowledging Him. Keep asking Him to reveal Himself to you, and continue walking in His ways.

Of course :) I'm a student at Hillsongs leadership college and this happens all the time. Jesus loves us so much & he is so proud of you! These kind of things happen when we stop and allow him to wrap his arms around us! Even though storms may be raging all around us his peace calms our hearts & settles the storm! That feeling...the tears...it is Jesus :) So happy for you sis! keep Going !

The lyrics to this song praise the name of my Lord, but where words fail to describe him all other things join together to sing His glory. The instrumental from 3:12 to 3:50 sounds like what I feel that Jesus' presence and love feels like. Blessed be Your name Lord and I will always praise you for guiding me through the storm! I'm struggling to get a grip on the Holy Spirit's leading in my life. I struggle with something called self-sabotage / self-abandonment. Short version, it means that every time I find myself in a potentially successful situation, I sabotage it out of fear of success and responsibility. It has to do with some problems from childhood. So after repeated instances of self-sabotage and betrayal, I find myself heartbroken and afraid. I think I trust Jesus, I'm just not sure if I trust myself to follow Him. I guess the question is... how do I let God's power and strength be my strength and comfort? And how do I find encouragement along the way? Can learning to trust God's leading in my life lead to learning to trust myself too? Thanks for reading.

If you truly trust in God, you'll be able to let go of such anxiety and fear for God is always with you in your worst situations. If something from your childhood started the self sabotage, then let go and feel and know that God and there. For me, when I feel I'm at my worst, I sing Christian songs to help me acknowledge God's presence. It makes me feel at ease. For you, I pray that whatever it is your going through and whatever it is, you will be protected from negativity in God's arms. He will be there to lift you up on his shoulders whenever you feel like breaking down. And when you feel your sorrows and guilts, he will be there to guide you. Know that this doesn't only apply to you, but everyone else whether their reading this or not. Just breathe and take the time to read the Bible and feel the Word of God sink in to your heart. Take the time to relax yourself and face your demons because I know that God will be there and won't ever leave you.

Hi, I just saw your comment when I skimming comment section in this video. It's been a year ago. do you still feel like this? I've been through the same struggle and I found psalm 37: 23-24 "The LORD directs the step of the godly. He delight in every detail of their life. Though they stumble, they never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand." You asked how can you trust yourself. I've been asking the same question too. But I found out, I couldn't trust myself. And I won't. My body and mind will always direct me exactly to the opposite of God's word. So, I try not to trust in me and only in God. As long as you follow God's word no matter what your own self tell you, you'll be in exactly where Jesus want you to be. I've been used to be worried and doubt. But through that passage, I just surrender everything in God. Even if I messed everything up, I believe He still there and love me no matter what. I know He loves you too. Don't give up, brother. God bless you. :)
