I just needed Jesus to remind me that I’m not alone and I heard this song. I can’t seem to run into the right people. I’ve been hurt, betrayed, abandoned, and ignored. Jesus has always been by my side. He never left me despite all brokenness and disobedience. He had my back when no one else did. He’s perfect. He was the best friend I was looking for this entire time. He’s has the type of love I’ve been craving for years.

I have been struggling a lot to overcome some fleshly desires and immoralities but this moment I pray that I will not go back to my old sinful ways and I believe that I can make it as I am closer to Him the mighty savior. Whatever you are going through you will sail it through if you give your whole heart, mind and body to Lord, He knows how to deal with all the situations. Believe believe and pray no matter what may. God loves you!!!!!

It was a dream.. I was in a huge green pasture with beautiful rolling hills just walking around with a lot of dirty people and we were all praying for each other. As we're praying a loud voice started signing so we all joined in on the song that I have personally never heard before. The song is Closer Than You Know - Lyric/Music video - Hillsong United - Empires 2015 While we were worshiping I felt a man tap my shoulder so I turned around and he was point up while the verse of the song was “Surely come, surely come Lift up your eyes and see Heaven is closer than you know Lift up your voice and sing Know that My love won't let you go” As we’re looking up we can see the most beautiful sight. The only way I can describe it was several massive golden bars floating in the sky glistening like beautiful diamonds.. We were all crying because Jesus was giving us a sign they he is near and not to worry about the constant chaos in the world today. Then I instantly woke up and realized I was listening to Hillsong United on my ear buds. The most bizarre part of the dream was that I've never heard that Sony before and the fact that the man tapped on my shoulder right before the specific verse about lifting up your eyes and notice that Heaven is closer than you know is just nothing short of a vision from God himself. :) Numbers 12:6 “When there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams.

I don't know what to say, this song always bring Heaven for me.

"We drank of the wine that was made of Me" is such an intimate statement. It speaks of such intimacy, brotherhood and fellowship. I love it. And I love how that Jesus never condemns us, even though having gone through ALL THESE THINGS for us, we still sometimes neglect Him. Actually, Jesus never condemns us BECAUSE He went through all these things for us. It's crazy and my mind fails to understand the magnitude of His great kindness -but my spirit KNOWS. I know that I can never boast of my love for the Lord, but His love for me is as unmoving as the mountains. What a God!

I cry every time I hear this song. Something about the lyrics and the song touches my heart in a way that only Jesus can. I was saved only a year and a half ago and have since begun attending Hillsong church. That church saved me and family and I am so glad that I have Jesus in my life and in my soul and that my parents aren't broken anymore. Songs like this save and I truly believe that. If you are lost and broken and angry, CRY OUT TO JESUS! JESUS LOVES YOU AND HE WONT LET YOU GO, NO MATTER WHAT YOU HAVE DONE. HE DIED SO THAT YOU MAY BE SAVED.

It feels so hard to praise God when you feel depressed, but more than anything we should look back on the cross, and remember what Christ did for us--the spiritual blessing we received the moment we accepted Christ is the only thing that can satisfy and complete us.

I had been hearing this song for 6 years for not understood the meaning, My friend of mine gave me the song and from that day on I always hear this song in my dark times for years I couldn't even understand the message but when I felt sad I play this song and feel his presence all the time thank you God you are always closer than we know.

I was working as a carer in the community last autumn, and I can't drive. I was having to walk in the pouring rain from one client to another. I felt lost, struggling with the fact that I hardly got any hours resulting in about a £400 income a month. We were living with my mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law and her husband, not being able to afford our own place. I was just sad, full of negative experiences from my previous job where I was supporting autistic young men and one of them attacked me. And then I just kept listening to this album while walking from one older lady to another when I realised: Jesus is closer than I know I'm just being blinded by self-pity and I'm worrying instead of handing over my problems to my Saviour. There and than this song really hit home and I just kept crying under a tree with yellow leaves, but felt eternally grateful. We have now moved out, both my husband and I have full time jobs and we're very happy and blessed. :) God is good!

Broken - wasted away and tired of life. Tired of being sick and alone. I tried the world and I tried to save myself, I walked away from God in my teens and since then my world blurred into misery and failures. I can hear my faith speaking too me more within the last few months - I feel God is pulling me back home to him. Weakened by sickness, I look up to God and say "You are the only one left who can save me now" Don't think this will be easy, but if I can just stand with faith - maybe I can see God and find family - to have a wife who will love me and a family God will bring me, to see his works in my life. The world can no longer save me - I need Christ more than ever now.

I became Christian 5 years from now. Wow. It totally changes me from nothing to something. I was like a puppet back then, I was like a vessel that full of darkness. This song has really touched my heart in the best ways possible. When it says "Lord I hear you I know you're there" It's like my constant prayer when I'm alone and when I'm desperate or even when I find time to speak to him I just feel like He is indeed very close and breathing deep within me. It gives me this image where he always sits by my bed and comfort me. It makes me cry because I acknowledge the fact that God is just this close to us yet sometimes our downfalls tend to cover our eyes and let us focus on how to solve the problem rather than to submit that problem itself to God, the Only One who knows how this world is running. So many times I've heard this song and like for the first time I hear it today. Because I am in a situation I never thought I'd be in. I have battled depression and anxiety for years after being raped as a child. I have always wanted to be accepted for me, loved for who I am. I have always felt the need to be what others want me to be so I can be loved. I have always changed so much that others hate. Do what makes others happy. But lately I've ran out of ways to make those around me happy and love me. Im always doing something wrong. I listen to this song today and for the first time I felt Gods love....the love that matters most.its gonna be hard to move on from here. But I was reminded today that someone loves me for ME!

My wife is next to me. She is cancer is living me and my daughters. I am holding her almost cold hand. I being praying so hard to Jesus so she can stay with us. But no one heard my prayers.

This song is remind me when i was work in hard place and lonely in 2014 , i play this song everyday repeatly every day in my car. Someday in the night, my front lamp was short , and the road condition was very dark, but i must go home, so i play this song and i go slowly with my car.
