Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys - Yes, We Still Have No Bananas (High Quality) 

yep! these come from a lot of tapes some people in the VHS community have been going over, called the Kansas City lots. a lot of the stuff this guy from Kansas City recorded during the late 90s was Sunday morning cartoons, including full BKN blocks that happened to have Captain Simian. it's something I'm really happy to be sharing, as the series as it is on RU-vid at the moment is in pretty poor quality. i do appreciate your attempts to repack some of the episodes into English though, as they were pretty much the highest quality you were gonna get for the first couple of episodes until these tapes came about!

@@fattylugia wow! I'm happy to learn that! I really like Captain Simian and I thought I was going to have to settle for only the bad quality episodes that have been on youtube for years... It's awesome ! do you have all the episodes? even if you don't have them all, it's still awesome!!!

@@Yogunmm sadly, I don't have all the episodes at the moment. however, there's a likely chance that at the very least, we could see half of the series, if not more in high quality. currently I have three more episodes to post from some 1997 tapes, and then, as more of these lots are digitized and uploaded privately by people in the community, I can upload the Captain Simian episodes from them. the reason I only say half is because a good few of these lots are past 1999, which is when the series would've realistically last run in the US, if it even managed to last until then. even still, half of the series in high quality is better than none of it in high quality, heheh. one other thing i should mention is that there is another set of Captain Simian rips out there. they're still a pretty large upgrade over the current RU-vid rips, however due to it being distributed by a more bootleg DVD company, there's a large watermark on the episodes. if all of the episodes aren't found on these tapes, then i'll likely upload the rest of the series from this DVD set. for comparison, I've left shots of the RU-vid, DVD and Kansas City tape rips here: imgur.com/gallery/eDPsk4Z

​@@fattylugia Even if you don't have the complete series it's already great! For more than a year, in exchange for many French transcriptions for the episodes of the series "Le manège enchanté" ("The Magic Roundabout" ru-vid.com/group/PLQKyyEnzyn74QjzETgcOnUoLGVfb_qXdv ), an American made me transcriptions of the episodes of Captain Simian in the form of subtitles so that I could make translations to finally have French subtitles (for episodes 07 to 26 - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hj1EGulpIVM.html ) The audio quality of the episodes that were available on the internet before the "Kansas City tape rips" are really bad because even he, who is American, often had trouble transcribing certain dialogues for me because the audio is sometimes too bad... Without him, I don't think I would have been able to do the transcriptions myself... With your episodes, I might be able to improve the transcriptions and make better translations ! I hope more VHS can be found and the content digitalised like this. 🥺 The episodes I have saved up on my PC come from a bootleg DVD I got years ago (a different one from that one pointed in the comparison). They too tried to restore the originally YT-ripped videos, but the quality definitely can't compare to this.
