well hold on, there's gotta be more to it. Multiplayer games have shown that Toads can run, jump, and play tennis right alongside Mario. It's specifically Captain Toad who can't run or jump. Curious...
Toad actually only can't jump because he has a heavy backpack with treasure in it. How that makes sense when Mario just assumes hundreds of coins and stars into his being with no weight difference, I don't know Nintendo really needs to start making better excuses

So, to seriously answer a 3 month old question (cause this is how we do it), Dunkey is a very intelligent person who pretends to be very stupid. Knowing this, his skill at sarcasm (and comedy in general) should come as no surprise. It's also worth noting that he is very satirical. One example of this satire would be his "deep philosophical video", but he is also constantly riffing off of various stereotypes in almost all of his videos, which is where the facade of stupidity comes in. Compare this persona to Pewdiepie, who achieves astonishing likableness by acting like a typical "bro", making him feel close and familiar. That got a bit off subject, but in short, Dunkey is a genius.
Once I heard that Toad impression I actually rewound it and watched it five times in a row, and then I kept going... It's so beautiful... 2:53 for an easy rewind everyone.
"He can't go very fast but he compensates for this by not being able to jump either." Genius! That's the same game design as Dark Souls. You can't see anything and there are a thousand cliffs, but they balance this with the giant skeletons that one shot you. Genius.
It really is a hidden gem. I missed it on the Wii u, so I picked it up on switch, and it was a blast. I’d recommend it to people who like easy puzzles, but not so easy extra challenges
Hoping this review translated into a decent number of sales… we haven’t had an update in well over a year, but it was still under 3 mil at the end of 2021 I think. Here’s hoping it defied all reasonable expectations and is sitting at 4 million+ now.
Cool shirts cost money. But if my shoes get eaten, I'll have to spend money to get new ones. And if I spend the money on shoes, it'll go to a big corporation to fund sweatshops. But if I give the money to Dunkey, he'll give me a shirt made in a cruelty-free, locally-owned sweatshop. Okay, I'm buying a Dunkey shirt.
Ha, that was exactly it for me! 13 hours of pure bliss and then it took around 2 hours and many attempts to beat Mummy Me forever, my thumbs were wrecked after it
How does this comment have so few likes? I totally agree and I always feel so calm and chill when watching dunkey. I’ve been stressed out with finals and this video helps so much!
@@walrus_boiler2646 thanks. I really mean it. My darkest days are far and few between compared to years ago when I was regularly depressed, but dunkey is still a vital part of my life that helps me to laugh and love.
Last time on Meatball Z: the dunk ate Raviolio's shoes which made him call upon his spirit meatballs to attack the dunk but the dunk was unaffected due to the shoes defence up from them being made of tough leather. Come back next week for a new episode of Meatball Z!
He's in the background of the New Donk City stage. Doesn't mean anything because of Spirit Tracks and Toon Link, but that's where we've seen him so far.

I originally had no desire to buy Mario Tennis Aces, or Captain Toad on Switch. But then Dunkey made videos about them. He even compared Captain Toad to Super Mario Brors. 2 and Knack 2 in positive ways. Thank you, Dunkey
The secret mushroom hieroglyphs in the video had 4 mushrooms and Dunkey didn't leave us with a rating even though he usually does when he makes a Dunkview. Is this a secret in a game within a secret of a review and what Dunkey is really trying to tell us is that he gives this game a 4/5? If so that's awesome
I also just realized that in the beginning of the video when Dunkey is plugging his merch he shows 4 shirts even though he has more shirts on dunkeycastle. This could also be a clever trick to show the rating at the start and we didn't even realize until now, I certainly didn't realize it until I watched for the 4th time. 0:06 is the time when you can see these 4 shirts.
the general rule is, if it says "more dunkey" instead of more dunsly or more denkey in the end, hes definetly serious, in all the other videos he could be

Easily one of my favorite nintendo games. I love the cute but beautiful environments, the fun but relaxed gameplay, and the joyful, nostalgic music. 9/10, highly recommended to anyone looking to play a relaxed and slower paced game.
