Every artist must step into the spotlight be an influencer with their art. The remaining 4 artists were treated to a shopping trip and a fancy meal before hearing their next challenge. They were each given a different form of "love" and had to capture that on the canvas. With an unexpected twist at the end, this is NOT an episode to miss!

The judges are terrible. The mom judge is horrid. I’m so glad I’m not taking their course. Such negative people. Their critiques mean nothing. They force them to do what they want then complain about it. They are in this fabulous area and forced to be clumped together painting what the judges want. Send them out into the town. Let them come back with what they feel from the land where they are.

Well done, Tanya. That was one of my favourite paintings of yours! As an artist I learned a valuable lesson from Elli's feedback - that we must really reach down deep, and go beyond surface interpretations if we really want to be an outstanding artist. Garden variety art is great, it can speak to people, they enjoy having it in their homes, it sells, it has intrinsic value. But truly great art is what everyone looks at and knows is great - it is what people will be going to look at in art galleries and museums hundreds of years from now. We don't all have to paint like that. But there is an opportunity to strive to be transcendent in what we create from time to time in a way that inspires people and transforms the world around us.
@Adventuresoffirefly
Wow theres alot of blah blah blah criticisim for these artists that put themself in challenges one after another away from family and what they know.. and thinking that as an artist they have to paint in hot hot temperatures, in the sun, no shade, and what sounded like oh "they had better circumstances in the shade and near a bathroom"? what and why would you think that is going to made better art to put them in those situations.. its not like they are winning 1/4 mil dollars.. harsh conditions are only putting them in stressful headspace. :( shame on you.

These judges don't give very helpful feedback to the artists and then are disappointed by the art work that is not "sellable." Yuck. I'm happy to see the finalists still going for it, after a whole season of unthoughtful critiques.
@marilouw207
I think the criticism is not always uplifting but rather breaking the artists down. The interpretation of a single concept or word is definitely a personal thing. Each one of these girls were emotionally invested in their painting. I was a bit disappointed in the way that the criticism was delivered.
@carmendavidson1503
Katrina's Painting is GORGEOUS, as she Reallllly Stepped out of her Comfort Zone and Color Palette....Katrina DID EXACTLY what the two women Judges SAID - to DO!! What Htpocrites!!!
@lava3924
Curious what the interpretations of the judges would have been? Criticise but tell them what you might have painted- define your mention of creativity
@tjtinaj83
I think for passion/love I would have painted a picture of someone up to the top part of their overalls hands out in front of them, paint brush in hand, with paint all over their hands, like a view point front on but downwards of paint on their shoes. That’s passion right there.

I enjoyed reading through a lot of the comments. Let's face it, Elli is a formidable force, an that is why she is so inspiring, too. She is obviously the driving force of Milan Art. I notice a lot of subtle coaching going in the programmes, podcasts and videos. Let's face another thing - she is a straight shooter. She won't let anybody get away with blunders so that they can save face.

I think the Older Female Judge is Grudgingly Critical of All the Girl's Paintings....

The judges are on crack in this episode. 😮 All of the artists were great.❤🎉
@mimo98
Congratulations to the four of you. Amazing artists with unique personalities. I particularly like Katrina for the fact that her sensitivity and emotions are always reflected in her art. Can’t wait to see the next episode
@divadoll55
I love all the artist. They are so unique in their own way. I especially love Katrina, she is my favorite, there is so much soul in her work and she is a very sensitive being and it shows.
@rolo4945
There’s something so special in each one of those artists.
@donitafichter8298

@vaneta6937
Congratulations Tanya!

I think the pace of this competition forces the artist to think more out of the box and explore and it really helps them get so much better. Some of these girls sucked at the beginning but now they can do nothing wrong. I loved all the paintings. I think that the judge was right. They may have gotten a little too comfortable. They have to remember the things they’ve been taught. Hanna is really kicking but i love mix media type looking paintings. So hard to pick the person to leave. This is the best season yet!
@dawngrondin939
I feel like i have been waiting forever! can't wait.
@beautifulmorning7103
The idea of the 4 different loves is wonderful. Great to see what will come out. ❤
