Great video, I was there on Sunday, there's a number of people you interviewed who started way ahead with the red wave, I was in Green and by the time i started my legs were like lead. It was amazing but I wish people wouldn't jump in line!
Great video. I ran the GNR for the first time, really tough run but the support was like nothing I've ever experienced before. Coming over the Tyne bridge and into south shields was mind blowing. Even a group handing out beer! 🤣

Ah, you missed my girls Eddie , for once they took it easy & came in together at 1hr 56mins , always proud of them whenever they race . Roll on November & my younger daughter does the New York Marathon (apparently loads of hill training is needed because of the steep slopes onto all the bridges they cross, who'd have thought it eh.) @@TynesideLife its a special place to be Eddy👍....... from my first gnr in 1984 to my last in 2013, they were great annual races. From my 1st time of 2.08 down to 1.17, I'm proud & content on my gnr times & placings. It really is a grand day out for all 👍
