Lisa and I visit Cafe Capyba in Tokyo, in August 2023. I recommend getting there for opening time as there can be quite a big queue. These cute Capybaras look well cared for and appear happy. maps.app.goo.g... Cheers!
Such a great name! I would love to learn Bahasa Indonesian, I hear it's quite an easy language to learn as an English speaker. Lisa actually knows quite a lot that we've picked up over the years!
Being from Brazil I can tell they are really small young Capivaras, as it is called here, I'm not quite sure what they are going to do when they grow up or if they will hinder them from growing larger. It seems to me it is the only two they have there, so they don't seem like they get rest because this is probably open the entire week. I don't know about this honestly, this might be ok and they are fine. It seems off to me somehow. Maybe I just don't like the concept of animal cafes. It is better than Zoos, though.
Is it really better than a good zoo though? A place with a good sized enclosure, round-the-clock veterinary care, a specialist diet prepared, probably water to swim in, etc?
