With the Carly app, you can register any battery and battery type that is supported for a BMW car. Keep in mind you have to read out the battery first to see if it is supported.
To check if a feature is supported for your BMW model, go here. What is supported also depends on the build year and the built-in hardware of your individual car. Connect your car with the Carly adapter and the Carly app to check what works for yours.
We are improving the Carly solution all the time, therefore the design of the app might have changed and functionalities may have been added since the video was filmed.

Hallo, sehr informative Videos! Fragen bleiben aber....beim E82 AGM Batt. zum Laden ausgebaut, leider haben wir in der Tiefgarage keinen Stromanschluss, muss die Batterie nach dem Laden und Wiedereinbau im System angemeldet werden? In einem anderen Forum wird darauf hingewiesen das die Batterien nur über die Starthilfekontakte im Motorraum geladen werden soll. Warum ging da nicht hervor, geladen wird mit einem Ctek. Gibt es hierzu logische Erklärungen?

Habe gerade vor 3 Tagen meinen Universaladapter bekommen ,mir die App heruntergeladen und wollte bei meinem T-Roc die neue Batterie registrieren.In der App ist jedoch kein Punkt für die Batterie zu finden wie im Video.Was ist da los?

Leider bieten wir diese Funktion nicht beim VAG-Fahrzeugen an.

Please confirm if I fit a battery with a different capacity, after I code it, do I have to register the battery or is it done automatically?

By coding, we understood installation of the battery. If you you've installed a battery with a different capacity, you just need to use the "Change capacity" function and the battery will be registered automatically, as shown in the video. 😄

Diese Funktion wird für den E65 noch nicht unterstützt, aber wir werden in der Zukunft an diesem Projekt arbeiten.
