I have a set of ratchets and drivers from my father from that Blackhawk brand. They are excellent. Though the set I have is a lot more modern. Probably from around the year 2000
It could be that they bought the tool that's unopened for a particular thing they wanted work on, and then they never got around to working on that thing. It's what I've done myself. I bought a caulking gun and a tube of silicone over 5 years ago to re-do some caulking around the bath and kitchen windowsill. I still haven't got around to it yet so the gun and tube of silicone still haven't been opened, lol. 😄
The 9” Footprint looks like it might have been run over by a heavy vehicle that deformed the metal around the laminated area and that deformation is limiting the range of the jaw.
I hope to find time for a review of the Blackhawk ratchet, it cleaned up very nicely yesterday. I couldn't see anything for Mrs Rathbone but she has been picking up a few bits at the charity shop again. Thanks for watching 👍
