Car Camping: Balancing Solo Car Camping and Family

I absolutely LOVE your philosophy on self care. I, too, had been a single mom for almost 15 years until now. I've been married for the last 3 years. Now, I have a partner who can and is willing to help in the day to day operations. I just never had the time for self care, and now, in my 40s, it's such a new concept. Hey Deez, So important to have your me time, I totally get it, you are a caring and thoughtful person. You put your daughters ahead of you, you saw the importance of caring for them, I think of the period in your life where you were the only parent caring for them and it's unfortunate regarding the circumstances, but you never gave up, and you seem as if you were beating yourself up, no one gave us a Manuel in life and said this is how things are suppose to be. But you know what you need and that's balance. Sometimes all I need is a peace of mind, what I would do is just need one day of relaxation by myself and then I'm good! That's what stabilizes me. Whatever works for you then do it. Glad you share with us how you balance yourself and life, Your not alone. Looking forward to the next video hmmm home Depot, should be interesting. 😊

I like your videos. I'm on the east coast too. Most youtubers are showing the west. I appreciate some east coast content. Nothing wrong with campgrounds. I went on roadtrip in Nov Dec to CA and back. Spent lots of time in UT, AZ abd CA. All the van people I ran into talk about boondocking on BLM and NFS erc. That's great but when the campgrounds are only $10 like in UT I often just pay the fee, and get picnic table, fire ring, pit toilet, garbage dumpster, maybe water. I hope you get many alone trips with your child. You got a good thing going

Hi there, very important subject to speak about! I’m pretty sure no one will disagree. For myself, my children are all grown and gone and my husband will only go camping in our 26’ camper. I love the man but I wouldn’t want to take him with me anyway 😂. At least not in my suv. (Grand Jeep Cherokee) I have almost everything I need to solo car camp and am working the nerve up to do it. I have a few places picked out around town for my first solo stealthy car camp and searching for other spots. I love your videos and am inspired, thank you!
