Great tip. Also, would never put the spark potential of a battery or drill pump anywhere near that amount of fumes. Hand pump to start a siphon works just fine.
Use the Lisle Tool next time for the lock ring on the fuel pump. Sparking wires on a battery, next to an abundance of fuel vapors, while trying to pump out and remove gas isn't exactly "Einsteinish" either.....good grief.
I'm glad to see you guys do all that to this generation 300. I have a 06 charger r/t that I would love to do these kind of mod's to. These generation 300s and chargers always get over looked be everyone and I'm glad to see you guys do it to this car. I wish you guys could come and mod mine like that. You have my permission....
5.7L Hemi I've got two Daytonas green and yellow. Sure I love the performance upgrades in the new models but to me these chargers look the best. Simple basic easily modded. And I still don't like the new front end at all.
Did anyone else notice that they disconnected the axle from the upper join with a pry bar and ruined the rubber casing of the joint just to let that same ruined joint stay inside and power drill it back together?

VGAPR Garage yes, that is the way to remove that because if you don't you will bust the joint inside the boot and it will forever spin. Ask me how I know.
well, in the video, it looks as if the boot is perfectly fine. It doesn't always damage the boot if done correctly and without haste. Which it seems to me they did correctly by pushing the boot up a bit and sliding the fork inbetween. Which is the proper way. I had that same thought. The boot looked a bit rough after. Not full torn, but def worse for wear. Plus the boots on the swaybar endlinks looked rough too.
It had about 1000 miles on it but I was the first to ever Supercharge an SRT8. 100k is nothing on an SRT8 Some guys are at 300K now. They hold up well. We only hit 500 HP at the tires and we were running VP 112 octane race fuel as the compression was way too high.
