"In the first volume of this tutorial, we cover SolidWorks basics, including 2D sketching and part modelling. This assembly consists of several parts, such as the piston rod, piston rod cap, piston head, crankshaft, engine block, engine cylinder head, air filter, and more. We start by creating the piston rod, then each component is modelled individually, following the bottom-up design approach. In this process, parts are designed independently and later inserted into the main assembly using assembly constraints. When modifications are made to individual parts, those changes are automatically reflected in the assembly."
This Video will cover: -
1. Create basic 2D sketches on different datum planes like Front, Top and Right Plane with the help of Line, Circle, Rectangle, 3 Point Arc, etc.
2. Create a solid feature by using the Extruded Boss/Base, Extruded Cut, Revolve Boss/Base, Revolved Cut, Lofted Boss/Base, Boundary Boss/Base, Hole Wizard, Fillet, Mirror, Move/Copy Feature, Combine, Linear Circular Pattern/Mirror Feature and Chamfer commands.
