Quick correction on the Profab Roush, that chassis did not win Daytona but it was both the 1985 TRANSAM Championship winning car AND the 1986 IMSA GTO championship winner.
Wow, you could spend literally years walking around that workshop, trying to take in all of the details of the cars being worked on. Amazing looking place.
I wonder how the mechanics build all these cars together. Do they have workshop manuals for each of these rare and not so easy to fix cars? Great video and very knowledgeable from your side. Well done👍
There is one main motorsports mechanic who has been working on these cars since they were racing in period. They have the original factory manuals for most of the cars. It all comes down to the experience of these guys, they have been able to figure out how to work on all sorts of race cars from Porsche to Corvette to Gurney Eagle Indycars to Can Am Shadows. They’ve done it all.
