For salaried persons Income Tax Charged to max of 30%. If you are considering income tax while buying a car then the tax range is between 60 to100%. Don't forget fuel tax is almost 50%😢

One might reasonably expect that taxes and insurance would be calculated based on the actual cost of the car. The concept takes an interesting turn when GST is amalgamated with the actual cost, followed by the application of road tax and insurance. The most insane thing I have learnt today and this looks like organized day light robbery by governments.

Explained very well.. please check your information on GST.. as the maximum GST Applicable is 28% ( SGST 14+ CGST 14).. The excess amount collected in terms of Compensation Cess. Eg. XUV 700 GST is 28% and Compensation Cess is 22% .
