this dude would become so rich if he moved to a 1st world country, With the price companies are charging for new headlights he could hire 1 english speaker to interact with the customers and just do his thing and rack it in.
Indian people's repair work is really excellent. In most countries, repairmen do not bother with these things and just install new ones. Thank you for your hard work.
I don’t disparage the skill of this Indian at all, but the factory glass on the headlight has a coating that protects from the sun. I doubt that this acrylic has such a coating. After a year the headlight will become yellow and cloudy
So yes great job ... but issue is at least for me as the molding pieces you used were the exact shape .. what if you dont have a mold as that is the struggle for me currently. Im going to try cardboard and hopefully get as close as i can .
Dude I was wondering the same thing. Does he just have two molds for every common headlight. Left and right. That’s like 4 molds. 8 total if you include the taillights too idk.
@jellopuddingguy123 this is definitely not a easy task even with the original piece to mold especially in my case as it's a 09 audi tts.. and the whole piece that wraps around it is destroyed. But after initially looking into this and snapping acrylic like no other and bubbling the carbonate ones multiple times I now have found they sell replacement lenses on ebay so I'm gonna try to finish up with these for temporary ones but think I'm gonna just call it . I did learn alot about this process and made me a rotoform cap im missing and use this In future for like car audio or trim pieces
And also, please put a face mask on when polishing , cotton dust everywhere.. I mean face masks are cheap everywhere , and are available everywhere, get one
Nothing like working with a high speed rotating tool, with no gloves, glasses, care or common sense. Yes, it’s a poor environment, but can they not at least put a $5 dollar guard on their main cutting tool!? Even there, eye surgery to remove a deep incrusted object, has to be more than $500 dlls??
What you are saying is right but the country we live in is called Pakistan but our rulers are not right they are corrupt but the people here are hardworking they don't have good safety equipment nor good machines but then Also know how to use what you have, thanks for thinking of them
