I had similar issues with Car Rep 2K clear on a guitar body. After applying it as the instructions said, and waiting 24 hours to cure, I started to get hairline scratches while sanding it. After polishing, any accidental touch of a fingernail or blunt/sharp-ish object leaves a scratch. I should have used the Spray-Max 2K and just made sure to get everything done in 24 hours.
WARNING: This product over dark colors may crack if exposed to sunlight. Stuff looked great until exposed to sunlight. What a nightmare . . . literally.
