Why, nothing I see here looks out of order. All he's trying to do is keep the body lines well defined. The idea of making what amounts to height pads with the triple strips of bondo is quite intelligent. It prevents the wasting of bondo as it establishes a height baseline.

@@BetancourtRSign Then there is something wrong with they way your doing it in your shop. This is standard practice here in the USA.The purpose is to not eradicate the body style lines. I know of no other method of doing that other than masking tape. This is the way Bondo work is taught in our trade schools.

Do these Euro guys moonlight as drywallers? This is the second dude from Europe that I've seen use putty knives instead of bondo spreaders. What's the deal with that?
SATAMAN Schmidt when evercoat offered me the quantum line of fillers years ago each case of filler had a pack of those spreaders in it. I couldnt get use to them. Strange feeling compared to traditional spreaders
