I love this car! Definitely something to check out if you like hatchbacks and/or little cars. Sorry for my stuffy nose. Please like and subscribe for much more! Thank you!
Try the DNA Cat Back Exhaust, best for a little money and sounds excellent ! I have a 2015 with Trifecta and Injen and DNA cat back.. You can view some of my films on you tube. God Bless Sonic Lovers!
I bought a white 2015 LS model, only differences are mine has manual windows, manual mirrors and the oddball very rare non CD radio. I want to upgrade to the radio you have in yours, because I'm weird and still use CDs.....one thing I wanna know is how the speakers sound. My LS model has auto headlights and Bluetooth with steering wheel controls, but no cruise.
Speakers are excellent! If you want to you can buy a steering wheel with a cruise control button. I saw something awhile ago that said the cruise control is built into the car already and you just need the button for it
So I got it today and holy crap it only has 2 tweeters and two front speakers but the option to put the rear speakers is there....I can only imagine how awesome all 6 sound when this 4 speaker system bumps! I did discover the radio only supports phone use, but I planned on switching to your style radio anyways. I love this car alot, I wasn't expecting it to be so awesome after watching so many reviews that bash on the interior which is far more comfortable than the 2015 Mitsubishi mirage I had.
I've had my Sonic for about a year now and I like it for the most part....I have the Fun and Sun package on my LT which comes with the 1.4 Turbo and Sunroof...I also go the six speed manual. I do wish it had a little more turbo power as it's mainly a fuel economy turbo and it hasn't met a small hill that can't conquer it as I constantly have to downshift to make it up. Overall it's a decent car so far even though I haven't put a lot of miles on it.
It is true that for a long time American car companies made inferior products compared to the Japanese but that is no longer true. I bought a new 2016 Buick sedan and it has been flawless so far Maintenance has been free and the only unscheduled issue was a nail in a tire. I am thinking of buying one these when I go from $2 Gallon gas in my state to nearly $4 gas when I move to California.
Should I consider the Turbo or regular engine?? I want to keep the car for a very long time but I’m just worried about the longevity of turbo engines. On the other hand, the regular engine has a timing belt..
+JBatts41 I can get that as well but I live in a hilly area. Maybe just see how you drive and if it is consistent. I wish I could blame it for when it is lower. Having the heat on will affect it as well.
Love at first sight. I have the LTZ. Interior was very nice. Orange/Black, Leatherette Heated Seats. Grey exterior. Love the space and the ease of loading with a hatch. The large center tray on the dash is perfect for giant cookies, or sharing a bowl of ice cream. :) The slots on either side of the vents are nice cubbies for the phone, but most passengers seem to be on their phone than look out the windows. I bought a "Belkin Road Rockstar 4-Port USB Car Charger" to have 4 USB charging ports for front and rear passengers.
