Never i have seen starter that has located so difficult place.

Good job bro. I will attempt changing this tomorrow. If you raise the car on jack stands, you can remove the bridge from under and do it from there but that's a LOT of work too. I got the starter cheap 70 euro new Jakoparts Herth+buss but seems like getting the part isn't the problem. Putting it in is gonna be a pain.

It would be nice to have more space and yes, it would help to remove the bridge (if the bolts are not too rusted 😄) It's a bit tricky, but you can do it 💪

@@HEMIkkoDIY bro update i am 5 hours into the job, I GOT FCKED lol. I had to remove the whole air intake to gain access from above because this car has lpg installed also so extra cables in the way couldn't do it your way.

@@HEMIkkoDIY the fcking intake bro had 7 screws. Especially the middle inner one almost gave me cancer lol, had to get it from the intake opening in the middle. Anyway, I'll sleep now and I'll get out the starter tomorrow. I'll update later, us mechanics should stick together, it's scary alone 😂

@@HEMIkkoDIY bro i just pray to God that the problem is the starter. The car suddenly didn't start-no crank, just clicks. Battery and alternator are good, fuses are good, the ignition switch is unlikely to be the problem because i hear the click, so what do you think, probably the starter right?

What size Allen key bolts?

Sorry but cant remember that there was any allenkey bolts 🤔(it's been 4 years). Just 3 normal bolts and i think the tool was 13-15mm , not sure about that ether 🙄

I removed starter from my car peugeot 3008 petrol. You are right it was horrible. Took a day.

@@HEMIkkoDIY any tips? I took the air filter box out and still couldn't see it at all, how did you manage to reach the 3 bolts and removed the positive and ground cable?

@@willo219 just by touch. its very hard to get place, so you really dont see the wiring 😔. I didnt see the lowest attachment Bolt nether... This one took a while to replace

I hawe replace it. I dont know i am not profesional. But all is finished in about one ahour. 😁 And the more important thing is that my old one is still in funkcion. I just give him little black fat. 😃
