This is a real work of art, if you need to restore tail light of a collectible car or motorcycle, this is the Master to do it, technic and quality result with no doubt. Congratulations for the excelent video. Greetings from Brazil.
For newer cars I don't think this would be economical it's very labour intensive and a new replacement part would be cheaper, but this guy could make a fortune repairing lights for older classic cars for which replacement parts are often very expensive and difficult or even impossible to find.
I could probably not pick a few small things but, was clever and pretty damn good. I even picked up a few tricks a d saw a few of my own ideas that I've never tried done here as well. hats off.
Fine skills like these are passed down through the generations from father to son. His father taught him the ways of the 3d printing pen, silicones and resin, ancient techniques at its finest. On a serious note though, nice work from planning to execution, patience is key (and the appropriate tools).
i must say today it is really important to know how to repair things, and this video show once more to know your skills and knowledge. Why always we have to buy everything new. For this i pay for the service and work for what he have done. Very nice and satisfying.
A lot of engineering goes into light assemblies. They must diffuse light evenly from the bulbs, they must breath but not leak and work in extreme temperatures. He's restoring these functions.
