Hey CNet, just to let you know the thumbnail for this video is for an ATS and you might want to change it. But who am I kidding, you won't see this and change it. But if you could prove me wrong, that would be great.
This clown points out negatives as if the competition can offer anything better. It out performs all the euros in its class - why didn't you point that out.? I drove my dads 550i and it was a bit bare interior, lazy engine and stupid expensive maitainance costs. Recently bought this car and it's better in every way. You explained/compared this car to its competitors so we can make sense of your demeaning attitude towards this car.
John Fisher you’re forgetting the fact it’s engineered to power twice the vtec power at the same time hence being a high rev V8. The VK series engines has to hands down be one of the best V8’s coming from Japan, that and the Toyota 2UR-GSE which comes in the Lexus IS-F which I use to own. But I’m much happier with the similarities found in the VK series for half the cost.
They dont use a V8 in japan simply because is forbidden.. Japan Gas Prices are ridiculous and they have a law that prohibits high displacement engines in consumer cars, In a way they are thinking years ahead but Mucho years ahead. Until the US runs out of gas, The V8 is not going anywhere here.
I rather hear someone who has the balls to point out the negatives. shows that he is unbiased. If I wanna hear all the good things about the car I'd go to the dealership and listen to the salesperson. Also, it's the negatives that you often don't realize and when you buy the car it sets in and by that time too late.
That's how you review a car. You watching this MotorTrend faggots?! Did he ever mention anything about sodium filled exhaust valves being .2mm bigger than last years model? And yet I feel like I've driven the car myself after watching a short video.
I test drove a 2012 Mustang GT with 3.73 rear end and a 2013 Mustang GT with 3.31 rear end both of which were 6 spd. manuals. . Both of these 5.0 engines with different rear ends love to rev. I had heard that the manual transmission was made in China and that it was giving people lots of trouble with not being able to get it in gear. switching over to Redline Synthetic MTL solved that issue and made the shifting the smoothest it has ever been even better than from factory.
Lol ISF looks too much like the is250 ... only difference.. exhaust lol. Is250 cost 32k.. ISF cost 65k... You pretty much paid over 30k for the V8... cause they look identical!!
Buy back your SRT from dealership. Let me know how that turns out-good luck.. It's just that a Mustang V6 can beat a Challenger R/T up to 112 mph as the V-6 has a limiter on it. But the bottom Mustang GT can beat the SRT says alot how well Ford has done and there is no gas guzzler tax on Mustang GT like on SRT. Mustang will probably more maneuverable than Challenger because it's just a smaller car.
There is a big difference between the 3.31 and 3.73. If I got the GT it would have to have the 3.73 but I don't think I would want the trac pac option and I believe that the 3.73 only comes with trac pac option on Must. GT. I don't want a car with a stiff ride as I already have one. Your SRT does ride smoother than the 2012 Must. GT you had?
Test drove a 2012 M56x recently and was very surprised when I drove it aggressively that it didn't have the power I expected. Might have been something wrong with the one I drove. My G37 is a lot faster. Disappointing because I really want one but the 420 hp was nowhere to be found.
It’s the shift points that stay even when manually shifting, I own both M56 and G37 and my G is far slower and it got even faster since I had the shift points moved back and the limited raised to 7500
thanks, well it's like this, camaro/Mustang sports cars. Challenger = Grand touring I mean it can hang Ten with the mustang but it isn't really ment to be that plus it's more my style, I'll know the answer hopefully tonight if I can get it back. (THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME!!! O_O )
which Mustang GT what year did you have with what equipment? I am sure the Challenger has a better ride on less than perfect roads than the Mustang suspension.
well I'm trying to get my SRT back at you read this post. in terms of ride, they are about the same due to the Tires on the mustang having more sidewall , 50's vs 45's and 18's vs 20's only on realy rutted roads you notice the axle hop. they have improved the mustang very much but it's just not a car for me. clutch throw is too long for my liking and it makes my left ankle hurt. SRT wan't like that only pain was geting in after a long day at work and then not wanted to get out of it after lol
mine is a 3.31 as well, I'm asking to the dealer to see if I can get my Challenger back, if I can with in reason i'm going for it. hell or high water I am going to get my SRT Back
The M56 is priced on par with its rivals. All of its competitors like the BMW 550i, Mercedes E550 & Audi S6 are priced well above $60,000 not to mention the new Audi S6 with the same 420 HP demands a starting price of $72K. I think in terms if pricing its well justified. Its not the pricing thats the issue, because for this segment $60K- $70K is normal. Its the car that needs a refresh, thats the problem. It fine but it could be alot better. The Infiniti M is looking dated compared to its rivals
2012 GT 6spd, it's in my posted videos. it's about the same because of the larger sidewalls on the tires, being 18's and not the 19's with the brembos, the Canadian trim models are a bit different. but i'm starting to have troubles with my gear box now, it's locking me out at times, and the clutch is getting heavy, even more thant he Challenger.
Infiniti & Mercedes are now partners so an array of new engines and models are to be expected by 2014. The Infiniti M will recieve a midlife cycle facelift before its redesign in 2015. Its refresh should improve the M drastically, more to par with the new Q50. Also with the new Infiniti nomenclature the Q70 aka the "M37" also hints that there will be room for a new Full size Flag Ship sedan to comepete with the Mercedes S-class & BMW 7 series, called the Q80 sedan since the QX56 is now the QX80.
I might be one of the few but I actually like the design both interior and exterior. Modern technology (for the time frame) but not over the top like Let’s say pretty much most European vehicles. Center console is clean and sleek and the space is used for items that are functional instead of just looking nice. Perfect example of Function ahead of form. The major system controllers are out of the way for the most part. Modern (again for the time frame) styling and excellent features but also again not crazy like refrigerated glove compartment, 83 way massaging seats etc.... I just got a 2015 Q70L (M37/M56 became the Q70/Q70L for 2014-2019.....same design just new naming convention for Infiniti. 3.7 has plenty of power but I wouldn’t say no to a 5.6 if it presented itself.
I have an iPhone, and I don't pay for anything extra. I don't have internet...not even texting. I get internet when there's wifi, and that's everywhere I need it.
