The BMW is way heavier. It's still faster than the Type R but the driving experience is different. I have a 2021 FK7 with CVT and similar mods and i'm already thinking of cutting my losses. If you want power, go elsewhere.

Yo blaze was your transmission slipping when you got the big turbo using the pherable off the shelf flex fuel tune?

It was slipping when I got a big turbo + custom tune. I didn’t use the AMSoil cvt fluid which would have protected my transmission, which resulted in it slipping

@@PeterM340i do you think if i use the cooler and transmission fluid before hand would prevent it? Because i understand why it didn’t fix the problem because it had already started slipping so it was worn yk

@@stadic5311yes! I believe that if you use the AMSoil fluid and CVT cooler before hand you will be fine. However you will need 2-3 cvt flushes done before the car is 100% AMSoil! Drive it for a couple of hundred miles between each CVT change and you will be set! I know a couple of individuals who have big turbo CVTs and didn’t have any problems because they did this route.
