We'll, to be fair the BOTH have to do it, I suppose if they each are required to get x passing shots it's still a race. Obviously not like a sanctioned event but it doesn't mean you can have a fun rivalry!

They could have made it into a race by actually racing and then doing another run for the passing shots. But this really was just an advert for Bestop. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I would get one if I was going to get a Jeep

This is why Jeep needs to allow front and rear lockers in 4 wheel Hi and rear locker in 2 wheel Hi. Not all wheeleing is done in 4 low. PLEASE LISTEN JEEP!!! GIVE US FULL ACCESS TO THE LOCKERS PLEASE!!!!

@@scotturich EVERY vehicle Jeep makes with solid axles on both ends needs to have them in ALL DRIVE MODES. 2hi rear Locker 4hi high front and rear 4 low front and rear locker. PERIOD. THE END

All wheeling that requires lockers should be done in low range. If you need more wheel spin, pick another gear. You get a lot more torque from 4l in 3rd than 4H in 2nd.

Thats not totally true. There are way points and once someone has entered you wait for them to clear due to not enough turnouts. Even in wooded areas without site lines whoever is closest to the turnout uses it.

My guy, that's the same concept. The gladiator is a longer wheelbase Wrangler. Wrangler->4 door Wrangler->gladiator. All the same just slightly longer wheelbases

2-Door Wrangler would be my guess for better. I have JL RUbicon Unlimited myself, but I'd kind of wish I had the Gladiator in Blue!. Do wish Jeep would release a 4xE gladiator (I got used to not paying too much for gos since most of the week, I stay in electric only with my Jeep. THough the limitations in space are either going to make me buy a Gladiator or a plug in hybrid mini-van.

When jeeps find their corrected price point i'd be more interested in a used one. The Bronco should help that along. I wouldn't ever consider a wrangler over a bronco. The gladiator is a truck though, that will help jeep out. I'm more of an SUV/Ford guy. Peugeot (sp) is taking ownership of FCA. With this new partnership, i cannot see FCA producing more reliable vehicles lol.

Wranglers are made in the US. You are implying that the new owner will instruct them to use lower quality parts that will break on a trail. The whole idea of the merger is to sack back office staff thereby cutting costs there. In the real world big companies cannot compete because a small nimble company will come along.

I think it would be great if we had a hard core head to head compition with jeep and the new Bronco to see who is the real king of off road. You guys need to get a storage bag for your hardtop panels. Rugged Ridge, Mopar, Quadratec etc. all sell them. I cringe everytime I see you just through the panels loose in the back seat while you go around. You'd have a lot more peace of mind and could then put them in bed where they can attach to the tie down points in the bed or something and remain stable, secure and safe and out of the way while you go on your trails and off-roading. That way your backseat is available too in case you want to use it for people or other storage.
