I am an Australian bloke who is a Volkswagen mechanic/tech turned truck driver who just purchased a Volkswagen Up 2014 here and absolutely LOVE IT! It is a pure Peoples car! Affordable and cheap to run. I love her. Even named her Erika with cursive lettering on the rear screen. Seeing this pop up made me smile and if I can be honest... Heaven.. A beautiful young lady into what I am into cleaning a car that I own... If I could like this 100000 times I would haha Cheers matey. Keep it dialed in aye.
Really good video packed with tips. Have you ever done a review on Swissvax? I use their products on my car and the results always impress me. I use Bilt Hamber Touch-Less as part of the pre-wash process. I like the Best of Show Carnauba wax for the paint work and the wheels I use Autobahn polish. Crystal Glass leaves my glass really clear. After the weekly wash, my car really shines. I follow their car wash protocol which is a good routine.
Very good job and really appreciate that you have your way of doing things and you stick to them! Your results are proof enough. Fantastic job on the car!!
Cheers! Really can’t argue with that price, I’m looking forward to seeing how it holds up. I didn’t prep the surface with a decon/ polish so I’m not expecting it to last forever but hopefully I’ll get a good few months out of it
Hey Heather great video, never ceases to amaze me how you manage to pack so much information into such a short video. I’ve got a product recommendation for you, try Autoglanz Rebound on the tyres, it will save you cleaning each tire three times, just think of the time that will save you ha ha. Also on your Glass sealant video you used remix and I suggested it might be easier to remove if you spritz some water to help removal, must have slipped your mind 😜
Cheers Graeme! I’ve got that in the basket for my next order, feel like I’m missing a trick using APC all the time and that rebound looks really cheap. Honestly completely forgot about the water spritz trick until I was packing everything away 😂
Great video Heather, gloss levels looks amazing, I've missed the boat on the ceramic wax costing £9.99 as it's now gone up to a massive £12.99!🤣I'm still ordering it at that price. Keep up the good work and great content 👍🏻
Cheers Paul! Completely forgot to mention it in the video but if you use the code ACHQ you should be able to get 15% off if you’ve not ordered it yet! 😊
Hi, I keep finding your videos that I haven't seen yet,,, lol.. How do you recommend washing the windscreen after the application of the Pyramid,, ?? I applied it a couple of weeks ago, and have yet to clean my Polo,, (it's hardly rained much here either,, ha ha..) Just wondering if I should keep as many products off the screen as possible, or simply wash as usual,, ?? I usually finish with auto finesse Lavish,, should I keep this off the screen, ?? All the very best,, John
Hi John, I just washed mine as normal with regular wax free shampoo but glass cleaners won’t do it any harm between washes either. I wouldn’t use lavish though on it just in case it causes any wiper juddering but it won’t be a disaster if some ends up splashing on it!
@@AutoCareHQ Thanks yet again,, I really value your advice,, I highly rate the Lavish, so I'll use it, and try to keep as much as possible away from the screen,, still don't know about the "juddering" 'cos as I said, we haven't had much rain, here in West Yorkshire,, thanks again,,.... John...
Hi Heather, you didn’t start off with an initial spray of ONR before the initial pressure washer rinse? Crackin’ video you’ve got a huge fan across the pond.
Thank you! I’ve not been using the initial spray of ONR on every wash to be honest, just when the car is really dirty or I know the finish is very delicate 😊
I've noticed you don't drag the towel on videos. Is this only on paint corrected cars? That makes sense. Otherwise it wouldn't matter enough surely as all cars have various swirls/marring? Or is more of an ocd type thing 😉. Like the videos 👍
I got into the habit of just patting the car dry instead of dragging the towel on my car after I corrected it but now I do it on most cars just out of habit really 😂
I love the content always try to remember to leave a like to you great stuff and I see when I wash my car after the foam rinsing the beading gets better but after contact wash gets worse what could it be? I use Finnish care hi-temp wax and it's near a month and was not so nice to look at more like sheeting and I have a test on the hood with toppers on the wax same with them-got worse after the contact wash I use bilt hamber auto wash and gyeon essence 1:2000
Thank you! Hmm that’s a bit strange, sometimes it can happen with shampoos with waxes/ gloss enhancers in them as they can clog the paint protection up a bit but those products don’t have anything like that in as far as I’m aware. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the protection products haven’t bonded properly maybe?
Simas, not saying you’re wrong here but it may just be your perception. If I’ve got this right you are checking beading and sheeting before snow foaming and then afterwards. If the foam is working well it will give you a big improvement over the original dirty car. Contact wash will improve this ( or should!) but might give a less drastic improvement than you get from dirty - prewash. I could well be wrong but it’s worth considering. All I can say is if you’re not happy strip back to bare paint, go over with IPA and start fresh using the minimal amount of products then recheck. Good luck.
Bargain that Solution61 ceramic wax for just £9.99, I have got some in my collection but yet to use it. Actually we have quite a lot of the same products 😂
