When welding in the lathe, and not having the ground on the part, the current needs to go through the bearings in the headstock. Creating pits in them.

Tpi kok waktu aku setting posisi gigi kok gak ktemu ya boss.Pdhal udah sesuai tabel. Tolong bantu guys🙏. Oh iya itu mesin merek apa guys..lincah bget ..mntapppp👍👍

I understand that you have to tack weld But, and while I’m not a professional welder I do a bit snd know a bit about welding. Too little heat poor penetration, too much heat can introduce other problems. But on some things I seen you and others weld they do what I call the dirt dobber method of touch and go or touch and back off and while it isn’t or may not be necessary I would cut most if the touch and go weld off but leave enough for alignment and make a seamless circular weld then cut that weld down to the size needed. Just a personal preference of the way I was taught. Like I said I’m not a professional welder and just a wanna be machinist learning a great deal from your videos. Your use of what I call the wiggly wire to center/square something in the lathe versus use of a dial indicator unless accuracy demand closer than your eye snd the wire can get and I’ve already seen you use the wire then put a disk indicator on that same item to see it was dialed in. The only lathe experience I have is watching how others do it and most follow use of a dial indicator and I suspect the accuracy of their eye has not learned to be as accurate as you and the wiggly wire not that the wire is wiggly just a nickname I’ve given the method. Additionally you and others rely heavily on a vernier caliper with marked off scales in lieu of one with a dial or a digital display and if those with indicators, dial or digital aren’t checked or calibrate periodically with a standard the plain vernier caliper may retain as much or mor accuracy depending on the accuracy of the person’s eye and comfort using it.
