We stayed on this cattle station for about 5 nights. This video kicks off exploring the dam on the proprty. There are 5 camp sites around it and one is right next to the old train line that is about 100 years old and still runs today. We meet the resident turtles at the dam, the kids find it very funny when one spits out the bread that we threw in the water.
We had all sorts of weather during our stay and this day was both sunny and cloudy. In one of the sunny patches we drove the patrol up to a deep water hole to throw a line in. Sophia caught her first ever fish, it was tiny, but was very funny and unexpected. Later on we go for a swim, grab a little bit of fire wood and cook up some steaks over the fire coals.
