We used to call it "The Rissole" when we lived there in the mid nineties. We spent many an our there cooling off in those days. It was a great town then..
Thanks mate. Hmm yeah I have been trying to reduce some of the music in my vids. Hard though, sometimes the camera audio is just wind noise. Music is better than wind noise.
Great video! Beautiful country! The roof thing on the telegraph pole is so that rain water doesn't wet the top of the pole, if it wets the top of the pole the moisture will travel down the grain of the wood easily and hasten the rotting of the pole from the inside out. But it looks like that pole would have outlived it's usefulness anyways without it.
A couple of friends brought a Jayco recently and are regretting it as they have had to fix quality issues with their vans. Finishes and hardware aren’t very good on Jayco.
Unlucky, at least you get no questions asked warranty service, and access to a network of dealerships around the country. All brands have these issues like that mate.
We have a 2019 Silverline. It has been a great van and we have had some great trips over the past five years. Do not like the interior colours of tje new model at all.
I have a 2018 Journey Outback, and I think the latest interior colour scheme looks terrible. I am in the process of looking to upgrade my van, but wouldn’t consider a Jayco anymore, very middle of the road, but getting too expensive for the quality you get from the factory.
May I ask how did you get the grey canvas? I really want the light colour one and the sales person told me there's no way to change it as 2024 swan model comes with green tent/Ali 😢
They are correct in saying that canvas colours aren't selectable. The canvas colour may have changed as this is also a 2024 Swan Outback. Maybe ring around to see if anyone is holding stock of the light canvas model?
Yeah you can feel the car moves different when getting crossed up in ruts etc. It used to be so rigid in the front and just pitch sideways and lift wheels. It stays a bit more level now and front tyres maintain traction for longer.
@M.K.G1994 I can see there is cracking in them. But I can also lay under the car and push against the diff housing to make movement in the bushes. Probs shouldn't be able to do that. Can get them from Holden for about 120 each, there are 3 of them.
@@OutdoorsCBR copy that. I might have to check mine as I have a knock in the front and can’t for the life of me figure out what it is. I’ve got a Colorado Ute but same front end arrangement
Haha geez, thanks for the heads up. Black screen is being removed 😆😆😆 yeah it is worth checking the links. Mine would move all the time. Another thing to check is the 3 diff mount bushes. I'm getting a mechanic to replace those
It was a long time ago, I don't remember it being a major issue. Get a long handle socket/breaker bar if they are really tight. They do have lock tight on them from factory.
