Just putting some Carb Cleanner into this PT. It's no the right way according to the expert Guys out there. But after doing so i started looking some improvement
I changed my fuel filter and made a huge difference.Trace all vacuum lines as well.Be sure no leak.Great video I am doing away with factory carb and have a 32/36 Weber Chinese carb.We did my friends truck a week ago’and man runs great!
I realize this is an old video, but for anyone with one of these little trucks: SHIT CAN the factory carb. It is a cluster F#$% to say the least. Get the aftermarket Weber& remove all the vacuum & electrical garbage on the passengers side fender. Pull the ECM from under the passengers side kick panel along with all its associated wiring & throw it in the trash. My '93 B22 has 251k miles on it. The Weber carb has been 100% trouble free & the reliability rivals that of modern fuel injection.
papabugs71 A little help here please, I just got my first B2200 94 and really liking it, the engine is running smooth and I'm not really after performance here, but IF I install the Weber carb will it help with fuel economy as well? is there any other improvements to help with fuel economy? My truck runs about 9.5Kms per litre (10.5L per 100Km), does it sound right? Thanks.

Is it possible to buy an entire carburetor for the b2200 from weber or is it a kit to rebuild the current one? I really would like to avoid a rebuild if possible, I have no idea how to do it

Hey i have a stock factory mazda b220 the hoses hooked to the bottom of my air breather box i noticed this guy didnt have any hooked up is it ok if i disconnect the hoses from it?
Underneath the carburetor is a manifold or something intake manifold how do I get a hold of one of those from my 89 Mazda it's my truck is old and they say the dealers have discontinue that stuff how much are they and where do I find one

Jerry Galvan Hey Jerry is easy, just take out and put the Bolt to lock all open holes... Bingo!! I were you and get a Weber, they are way Better than stock carb!!!

Franky , tengo un Mazda B 2200 , del año 90 . Me le cambiaron el carburador original y a veces da un tipo de contraexplosiones como a 2000 rpm , si no consigo uno original , cuál me aconsejaría para adaptarlo , gracias le escribo desde Costa Rica .
+7caesar7 is it a new carb altogether? Where can I find one? My truck was run without an air filter for who know how long, it pops and sputters all the time. I ran some sea foam through the vacuum, gas tank, and carb to clean it and it doesn't see to have helped
