Whenever I listen to this track I imagine some unmanned, automated beacon or relay that is slowly spinning, drifting into the cold, deep space, sending communications to some planet orbiting a distant star. It's like I'm drifting along with it, space suit and everything, suddenly realizing that I'm billions of kilometers away from home. I feel like being in a good sci-fi movie, and I'm not even high.
The entire album is good, but this track and Neurotransmitter steal the show. I love it how CBL can create such deep, meaningful, melodic music with pretty much basic sequences. Solar Fields is the exact opposite, with intricately layered tracks and non-repetitive parts, but somehow the result is pretty much the same.
