Why do you inspect paper when doing load development. You only look at chrono and find best (largest) low ES/SD nodes (then back off into that charge range). Depth seating will tune any load! Please do not teach tis to normal people... looking at groups only confuses people and if no chrono, no fucking point really!

Would definitely like to hear what you do to improve the trigger on a stock Howa. Looking at getting my first Howa.

Any updates on precision and accuracy? Is the 1500 carbon barrel worth it?

I would like to see a video with 2 barrels and actions Use one with barrel break-in and one without. Would REALLY like to see if it makes a difference.😅😅😅😅

I have 2 XRS chassis, one in black and one in fde and i swapped some of the panels between rifles to mix it up a bit

Carbon is not meant for multi shots. 1-2 shots for hunting they work great. Anything more, carbon fiber curls due to heat dissipation and holding too fast. Never get a carbon wrapped magnum period. Any less caliber and you only use them for a couple rounds

I bought the Howa 6.5 CM barreled action with 26" barrel, got the warrior gen 5 chassis and also got the Sus-Tac silencer with muzzle brake and the 125gr sustac bullets. I got the Burris eliminator 5 scope and my first 5 shots doing barrel break-in was below 0.19moa......I measured the rifle as per Oom Cassie Nienaber's method and calculated my first loads using quickload. Verified speed, adjusted QL accordingly and loaded up some more rounds also including the 140grmAXE bullets now. I love the 6.5 Howa. I am just happy we have decent range down here in PE.....

My needmore likes 142gr SMK at 2700fps, using S365. Lapua SRP. 1/4MOA.

My xrs came with the wrong rear action bolt. I only realised it while hunting with it. The original one screwed in 1 and 1/2 turn then binded creating the feeling of a tight bolt. Had to spend a saturday morning getting it tight but never looked back. Sure you will get the 1/2 moa.

Have you noticed the frame screws unthreading with shooting? I was thinking about contacting them and asking if lock tight be used. It did not change the impact out to 1000 however.

Do you have a video of your barrel break in progress step by step?

Stop wasting your time and ammo with that carbon barreled action. They do not perform the same as a s/s barrel. Been there, tested a few different brands with loads of load development. They normally shoot great for the first three rounds, then all over the place when it warms up.

Just received my howa carbon stalker 6mm arc and pretty disappointed.first the barrel is pinned to one side of the stock wont be sliding any paper under it then the bolt has spots on it where theirs no coating on and another part of the stock right by were bullets eject is chewed up…called legacy and they had me pull it apart and try to realign it and retourqe it and its clear the stockys stock is messed up and poor job on coating the bolt now the guns heading back with tags still on it…pretty bummed also the bolt sounds like a zipper when you work the action
