I love how you don't add all the extra fluff in the carbonfiber process like bag connectors, catch pots and other parts that are not needed to do a project. Thank you for being real. I'm working on reproducing all the parts on my 2016 shelby gt350r in carbonfiber.

No I'm not yet but I will on RU-vid. I am in Houston TX and I own RLC plumbing, Cole Construction, Bellas lawn care, and HL Auto Group. I'm about to start RU-vid for RLC tips and tricks from a Master Plumber to practice my Content and editing then I will shoot the carbonfiber process never done it before but failure in the process is just one way not to do something. That being said wish me luck..

You'll have second thoughts about catch pots being 'fluff' when your expenses vacuum pump gets gummed up with epoxy. AJ can afford not to have one because his pump is on the other side of the room and the lines can take in a huge amount of epoxy before they reach the pump.

This is very fascinating, you really didn't have to record this for us and you did it anyway. I always found the properties of carbon fiber and the process behind making it into parts to be fascinating! I ordered a set of canards from you back in june and just got them yesterday, they are going on my 08 Mustang GT. You are one of the only people that makes proper aero for the S197 cars. I have the car up in the air doing a clutch, motor mount, and drive shaft upgrade and I might as well take the bumper off now to put this and a seperate splitter and some led lights on. I ordered the canards raw because I had plenty of clear coat on hand and already sprayed them :) Your work is very impressive! I will be sure to send you pics when my car is all done

Got a question, i havent done this,looking forward to, when you press the inlate hose of the resin ( when its all ready wet out ) what should i do with the vacum hose?? Clamp it to? Or i should leave the vacum on till it fully cures? Just asking cuz i cant find that answer, well that it, great videos man

I assume since your using that 3M Super 77 it doesn't cause any issues with discoloration, or epoxy flow on the surface of the clear coat?

Hi there, does the vacuum chamber lid have too be tempered glass? Or will acrylic lids be ok ? I’m wondering if the resin gases will cause a chemical reaction making the acrylic lid crack?
