That’s awesome dude 👌 didn’t now I would be that easy to airbrush carbon fiber. Thanks a lot for that tutorial. I started airbrushing rc bodies about a year a go. And was looking on getting a little more creative than just 2 colors. That carbon fiber look will definitely bring some more creativity to my work.
WOW!Easy to do with sick results.Thank you so much for your tutorials on how to airbrush our rc bodies and quick tips. Its people like you who help us newbies.Keep up the great work and thank you.I really appreciate your help and your skills.
I have one of your custom painted bodies, and I love it. You did this effect on the entire bed of the truck. I almost hate to cut it to fit the head of my nitro engine. The Only complaint i have is that i cannot bring myself to actually run my truck when it has that body on it😂. You do amazing work man.
Amazing effects that you get by simply using Shelving "Grip Liner".........VERY good tutorial. I THINK you might have heard this before, but ...........you've got skills buddy !!!!!
So you were painting on a rectangle plastic piece. So if I want to do it on my car am I just doing exactly what you did but to the inside of the RC car?
Hello friend, excellent your technique, consultation will be the same Tamiya spray, on the other hand the mesh you use to imitate carbon, where you got it, greetings from Argentina
Are you using the same black for the base and lines as well as the backer? If so which black? I have wicked black, jet black ans candy black. Thanks in advance
So I wanna do a slash body with this should I just use one large peice of the drawer liner an cover the whole inside in one shot or move a smaller peice around an do it in sections?
I got discouraged on painting I tried to paint a body using spastics paints the colors are gold green orange and purple backing with black and what happened was it came out purple and turns into metallic green but shows no gold no orange when this happened I got discouraged
Amazing work. Thank you so much. So I have an airbrush setup with a Badger 105 that I used for plastic models and want to get it back out to paint RC bodies, what paint should I start with. Like could you recommend a set to start with? Like a few paint colors? I want to do skulls and flames with your stencils
Amigo that is freaken awesome!!! Not only very well done but you’ve explained really well too. I have one question and would also like to ask for your advice. Q: what are you spraying on? Is it a form of sticker that you will later stick to the inside of a lexan body? A: Please give me some tips on equipment. Must haves both in tools and sizes and quality and brand names for air brush gun. Help me out please. I love the work you’ve done. Gonna search more of your videos !!!!
The paper we spray on in this video it just clear plastic we get on a roll at any art supply store. We cut it for our sure it does not stick we trash it when we are done. When we paint bodies the work is painted on the body. We are using Pasche Talons in this video, and a california Air tools compressor. Hope this helps.
This is fine for flat areas. How do you do this around the curves in a lexan body? How do you get the drawer liner to form around the inside? I have not been able to figure out a way to get it to form around curves without it just popping back up.
Dude this is an awesome video, I paint rc drifted bodies , would this technique work with tamiya PS spray paint cans on the inside of a hard lean body? Cheers
