1 It’s not stainless. 2 Its industrial maintenance work, like at your local plant. not a pipeline leaking liquid gas. it has to not leak, not pass an x-ray 3 the fitter sucks, 4 the welder is pretty damn good.
Yes no purge. Hope there is no sludge running through pipe. But I like the tech on feeding rod through pipe. Yes feather tacks down, to keep that key hole full and penterated, like a Saturday night
Wrong to all three. I’d probably set the gap a little tighter, but the gap is fine if the welder can fill it and get the root in comfortably. Which looks like he can. Just because the pipe is silver, look a bit closer. You’ll see you’re wrong.
Good job pal at first I thought it was stainless steel but I saw the coating and your filler wire so figured it was carbon steel all you need to do is tell the tack welder to put cleaner tacks
Those tacks ripped my shirt off from here. Hell put up a blind to keep the wind off of your weld. You can see the sparks blowing off that it’s going to be all sugar in the welds

Eu acho que isso tá errado nunca vie fazer isso antes, para um sistema de refino de petróleo ou sistema de alimentos isso não pode. Ou eu estou desatualizado? Dependendo do lugar tá fodido o soldador que fizer isso kkk, trabalhei em uma caldeiraria em 2016 no Brasil prestando serviços para a petrobras ela pediu para fazer as soldas tudo no eletrodo, os chefes da empresa queriam adiantar o serviço mandou soldar tudo na mig tubular fizeram as radiografias e mandaram embora, uma semana depois chegamos para trabalhar cedo tinha umas 35 cabeças brancas esperando por nós kkkkk tudo petroleiro kkk ficamos 2 dias fazendo cursos e foi mandado em bora uns chefes kkkkk
Unless you have a set up with “lift arc” you should always start up using your filler wire. Otherwise you will dull your tungsten but you will end up trapping tungsten in your weld which can show up as inclusion on the X-ray. And even if it’s not a code job it’s just a terrible habit. Those who don’t take it as constructive criticism will limit themselves. Everything you do as a welder can either help or hinder your reputation.
Honnêtement je vais être franc pour de la tuyauterie inox mal pointé sans gaz de protection de la racine on voit que ça roche ça vient noir et poreux donc je m'arrêterai là😢
