2009 to 2015 High inflation, a recession oil dropped to 20 dollars a barrel oil fields closed bankruptcy went up , housing market created a false economy that was directly responsible for the high inflation, housing cost starting at 450,000. Where was all this common then! 950 for a bdrm apt how much did someone have to earn just to pay the rent! What about insurance? Parking? Laundry? Groceries? Car payment ? Credit Cards? Transportation cost? Entertainment? Minimum wages were 7.00 dollars to 10.00 dollars after taxes, lucky to take home 350 dollars? The commercial where it ends he's lived it really . Did he go hungry ? Did he live in social housing! Did he wear worn-out cloths and shoes! Did he go bankrupt! Did he work for less than minimum wage! This from a man who preaches common sense but willing and gladly took 5000 dollars salary increase over 3 years. Took a gaurented pension that is worth apx 6,500 per month. Really, he has lived it knows what it's like to live without do without ! Right, he looked hard done by growing up . The promise of taking home more money from your pack check 100 dollars a month? Will he leave universal Healthcare alone or will he cut it like dental especially those seniors or those on fixed income ? Most Canadian's benefit from the Carbon tax rebate. It literally makes no sense to get rid of it, as YOU WILL DIRECTLY be getting LESS money by removing this tax. 8/10 households receive more money back than they spend on carbon pricing. So, unless you are directly polluting a shit ton of carbon, there's an 80% chance that you are benefiting from this tax. Pierre Poilievre is wrong on this one dawg. Not so Mr. Common Sense in this case.
