Harry i am not sure on the date yet, it also could be before 1922 before Moselini took power. When Moselini took power all were dated with Roman numerals.

How did the bore turn out on yours?

@@LeeBro999 the bore was extremely dirty and dark. The rifling was surprisingly very much in tact. After cleaning I was very happy with the results. I obtained some way over priced Carcano ammo and took it to the range and it functioned great. Liked it so much I ordered another. My second one turned out the same. The stock on the first was more nicked up The second one look more like yours. I have two functioning pieces of history for under $500. Happy with that. 1919 and 1941 are the years. Guess I got lucky.

acester hi.. ya i have 4 of them at the $200 price from RTI and one was junk/parts gun. The 2 in this video were great...i think ULI picked them out for me for the junk one he sent me. Thanks for watching ! I am making a new video right now on a 1916 Spanish Mauser i just got from Hunters Lodge.. its a pretty good one. OK LATER

@@RUSTYSURPLUS I might gamble with hunters lodge. I asked my FFL if they would be fine with receiving that and they said bring it on. 😅 I warned em...one guy I saw on YT got an old Iver Johnson revolver that was in G+ condition for $40. It was an odd caliber, but still even if it's a paperweight that's pretty dang nice.

Hi Casual.. When i ordered these carcanos they were $199.00 each. Now after i ordered them and had my order # i Emailed Uli over there and talked story with him and asked for nice ones and SMOOTH bolt action. That seem to help cause they were OK. The time when i ordered them there was no hand select. You know if you get one with out a top hand guard you can get one new made on Ebay. you will see them on Ebay and it will say there sold out but you contact the seller and he will get one to you. Hey thx for watching !! I did not get the hand select. ULI picked them out ..owner select 😁

Well, I ordered two Carcanos last night from RTI, one very good pre-1918 for $150 and one very good to excellent hand select for $175. We shall see what I get.
