Ian has a rare combination of cancers, carcinoid tumours are unique and don't react very well to radiotherapy or chemotherapy. Which led to him having his left lung removed in 2014, after a terminal prognosis was delivered.
After feeling unwell in the summer of 2014, and originally thinking it was just a blood pressure issue, Ian went to the GP. He received a phone call to say they had found somethings in chest that shouldn't be there.
Despite this, he still keeps active, running and is fighting every single day.
Stand Up To Cancer and help us work towards the day when no one has to lose someone they love to cancer.
1 in 2 people in the UK will get cancer during their life time. Every pound you give helps speed up life-saving cancer research, bringing treatments to people who need them, faster.

"...he carried on running and was training to take on the marathon to raise money for our research." Research that involves the torture of innocent animals. Cancer Research UK both supports and funds animal testing.

Shut up already. You'll soon change your mind on that if you ever end up being diagnosed.

Why don't people dress up in fancy dress and run around on some charity type fun run to raise awareness, perhaps wearing pink wigs, also to raise more awareness more of these sorts of videos should be made to raise awareness.
