Ian has a rare combination of cancers, carcinoid tumours are unique and don't react very well to radiotherapy or chemotherapy. Which led to him having his left lung removed in 2014, after a terminal prognosis was delivered.
After feeling unwell in the summer of 2014, and originally thinking it was just a blood pressure issue, Ian went to the GP. He received a phone call to say they had found somethings in chest that shouldn't be there.
Despite this, he still keeps active, running and is fighting every single day.
