Back by popular request, it is card of the week time. This Sunday we look at Lovestruck Beast; how much of a drawback is his text, and does it even matter in your cube.

Cool video, cool card. Small caveat because I'm a pedant: the way you say "hit the like and subscribe button to let us know" in your intro makes it sound like there is a single button called "the like and subscribe button", either button needs to be plural (buttons) or you need to change the wording to something like "remember to subscribe and hit the like button". This literally doesn't matter, just know that if you don't change it my eye will subconsciously twitch every time I watch the intro to one of your videos ;) .

My toughest decision may not be what to cut for Beast, but whether I want the showcase or the Kev Walker art. Walker is one of my favorite artists.

Great video! I will definitely try this one out! Can you make a card of the week video about Dream Eater? I also would love to see a video about the different approaches to the land section for both powered and budget unpowered cubes. I am currently running the Shocks, the Vivid lands and some other rainbow lands like Aether Hub but I I would love to see your take on an environment without original Duals and fetches :)

Obviously cube power level plays a part, and how easy it is to crew matters also. I would say this is the order (in general): Smuggler's Copter, Aethersphere Harvester, then fleetwheel, skyship, and mizzium tank, and honestly mizzium tank might be higher than both the other two. I was watching this video questioning why lovestruck should be any good... Then I realised that he can still block without the 1/1 creature!

I love this card and adventures overall. The 2 cards in one style gives you such modal cards. Do I play out my creature but lose the other half ? Do I wait and cast both sides for max value. Choice is great, skill expression even more.

How's embercleave playing in your cube?

Too early to know, just added it with the most recent group of playtests. I cut Experimental Frenzy for it. The idea being that both aggro and midrange decks will want embercleave, but only mono red aggro will want frenzy. We will see how it goes.
