This happens on a lot of occassions, but the theme music was originally used for DOUBLE DARE. Additionally Alex Trebek would appear in a tournament with other game show MCs; including Gene Rayburn and Bill Cullen.
I see this is very early in the show's history. One change Jim made later on, I noticed, is that he flipped the cards more quickly. It looks a bit nonchalant at this point. But I always liked Jim. He ranked #2 to Bill Cullen for me.
This isn't episode 12. At the end of episode 11 (which is here on RU-vid), Jeff was playing the lovely redhead Elaine. I was hoping to see the end of their match, which Jeff won. Wonder where that episode went to? Maybe a bad tape?
WFLA channel 8, the NBC station in the Tampa Bay area, never aired the original Card Sharks until reruns first appeared on channel 8 in the fall of 1982.
Bunny looked HOTTER than a pistol!!! BUT, its too bad that BUZZR-TV cant pump out more game shows later than 1978! They keep showing repeats!! Need to STOP that!!
