Nice video! These are some really good tips. One thing I try to do in the first round is to try and get a lot of birds out quickly, without paying so much attention to point value. I've found it's important to get that engine up and running! I've also found with more birds out I can more easily use them for cross purposes (i.e., meeting personal goals as well as end of round goals). Toward the end of the game, I'm definitely focusing more on the point total of birds I'm putting out.

I would say that keeping in mind the cost of the birds is one of the major keys to success. Sometimes it is ridiculous what difference in the overall points this makes. You should build an engine you like but try to pick the birds that cost at least 4 points.

Great video I’m fairly new to the game so lots of food for thought here. I’m definitely far too focused on getting end of round goals, and my engine is nowhere near as efficient as you described. I’m looking forward to trying these out!

My favorite tip is to focus on two habitats over the third and in the final round play big birds in the third habitat for relatively cheap. It's pretty hard to plan for at times but if you can it might just be the thing to win you the game.
