The person on the the box of Narukami is Toshikie Kia (an old user of the Kagero clan) a major part in the anime of Cardfight Vanguard. And the person on the box that contains the cards that belong to the Gold Paladins is Aichie Sendo THE main role of the anime also former user of the Royal Paladins. So yeah I hope this kind of explains what you are asking. And im sorry for all the people that are a BIG fan of this show forgive me if i miss-spelled the names

Once I start my job in the summer, I plan on buying two boxes of set 6, one or two Gold Paladin trail decks and some card sleeves to boot lol :) Also, I agree, the artwork looks VERY good! It surprised me how well they looked!

dual masters is not gone. theres a dual masters card series available called kaijudo. it just came out this year.its allready in stores

The cost is the part at the front of the effect text thats its brackets. For example, before the effect text is may say (Discard 1 Narukami) thats the cost.

cost can also be anything like counterblasting(flipping the required amount of face up cards in your damage zone face down) soul blasting dropping the required number of cards from your vanguards soul(the cards under the vanguard by riding or soul charging)) and soul charging taking a card from your hand and placing it under your vanguard)

@MagmorterMaster1 In a fight, if a trigger check reveals a draw, stand, or critical trigger, it will activate no matter what. However, when heal triggers are revealed, you must have equal OR more damage than your opponent.

I loved Duel Masters too! and I remember reading somewhere that Vanguard was designed by the same people who made DM. That explains the damage counters (shields) and triggers (shield triggers). Duel Masters is coming back to the english market on a different name. I'm not digging the new card boarders and creature art though :(

i wanted to buy a nn varukami deck because dragonik kaiser vermilion i tink it was a dragon deck but i dont want to buy a narukami deck because the djin cards .

Yes, its fairly cheap for a trial deck at £15... might seem a lot, but unlike yugioh and pokemon you have a decent chance of winning with a deck right out of the box. Try it out and see, but I play yugioh, vanguard, pokemon and magic, and vanguard is definately worth playing among them :D

houqe gold paladins are amazing but they are also extremly meta, this starter deck is one of the worst builds for gold paladin the best build would probably be duke dragon build but those builds usually cost around $100-$150
