I love the way you two play. You are loud and clear with a good camera angle and you state the cards ability upon entering the battle! Please keep it up
Great Cardfight! I could actually follow the plays and you guys spoke loud and clear. Do you or anyone else have any other videos like this? I love watching duels but only ones that can be understood.
When he hit the heal trigger at 3:38, I thought that Heal Triggers could only be used when you have more damage than the opponent, when you both had 2. Sorry if I'm mistaken.
I think that he should give the critical to the vanguard, since the opponent will have to guard even if he gave the critical to the vanguard. The amount the opponent has to guard will also be the same. Moreover, if he guard the rearguard with the critical, he can allow another attack to go through as he only has 4 damage. And pbd's effect can still be useful even after the opponent has 5 damage. He will still win even if the 6th damage is a heal.
@DMdrake777 it forces the opponent to guard against the rearguard, wasting his hand so that hitting with PBD's skill (+10,000 and extra crit as well as twin drive) will be easier the next turn
@KingWhoShallReturn Its when you have more or equal damage. It only works if even at the same time. During a damage check in which the Heal would become the equal damage, it doesn't work.
eclipse of illusionary shadows will get you the cards for the enigman ride chain, but if you were to wait until may you could buy the blue storm armada box and get the daiyusha ride chain. However I would recommend buying them as singles online as it would probably be cheaper then buying 1-2 boxes and only getting half the cards you need. If you're in the UK i would recommend using chaoscards
@kokwee89 at this moment i believe thre is only one type of shadow pally build its the same as aichi and ren used it revolves around the blaster series like javelin and dark
I think it was so that if his attacked hit with the last attack he'd win so it was more guaranteed since it was +5k twice since it was 2 triggers maybe? However, i think the real reason was to reduce his hand size alot
@JKSnippe uhhh, i think your saying that u cant boost rearguards with triggers, is that correct? but you can, its written in the rulebook if your saying he shouldn't boost the rearguards, thats up to the player, he did that so that he can prvent the opponent from attacking the rearguard thus saving them for PBD's skill, since he had only 3 damage and he's sure he's gonna win the next turn, then y not?
Furthermore, this video was the last of about six or seven that we were unable to post due to people in the background swearing loudly. The owner of the video was incredibly irritable, and I can't blame him as we lost about two hours of good games.
It's an incredibly minor rule technicality that is only for show, since this video is being recorded and distributed by the US Distributor, Heartofthecards. Neither player took offense, and neither should you.
Could you please clarify what you find problematic with the play? I don't see how either player was trying to cheat nor mislead their opponent, we were both openly stating everything due to the people viewing this video not necessarily knowing what every card nor ruling is.
@n3rdm4n36 I know haha I played Vanguard ever since they came out and the first time I played my friend didn't told me if I forgotten I can't stand then he said I can't stand... I was like I'm a beginner...
In the case of Enigman Storm user, if he got a Stand trigger, he would have standed Glory Maker and then used Commander Laurel skill to stand Storm for another powered up attack. However, his deck was all over the place. Not the best Dimension Police but not the worst.
Lol at the Morikawa style comment, that got a snicker out of me XD Grade 3's are good Vanguards, with twin drive and all but come on, Morikawa uses way too many in his deck... he needs to learn deck balance...
