There's a difference though, Palamedes counts UNITS while Vortex Desire counts cards. From my understanding the heart is no longer considered a unit anymore so it wouldn't count towards Palamedes effects. Cuz this ""Heart" (ハーツ Hātsu, "Hearts") is the state that changes the cards on the vanguard circle when Striding, always face up. A card in heart state is known as "heart card", but it is not regarded as a unit, and only has its card name and original power. However, all the other information written/given/gained on its face up side, as well as the total number of associated heart cards, can be referred to by effects. A card in the heart state is considered to be still on the vanguard circle (as it does not change zones), this means that when a G unit Strides over a unit, there will be two cards on the vanguard circle as a result, the G unit and heart card. Although a heart card is not unit, it is a card by definition, and it can be chosen/referred to by effects that explicitly say "card on (VC)"."

idk i have the legend deck but im gona buy a blaster blade from my friend for about 0.5$ worth of money

I went to Thailand for 3 weeks. And I went to this market at night and saw a vanguard box and brought it, it was a legion deck. Royal Paladin. and after few days I went to a shop and got the Legend deck and added the Blaster Blade to the Legend deck.

maybe because aichi only has one vlaster blade and its so bad ass they decided that it should be alone

Yes you can stride on leigons and i use blaster blade seeker and alfred and wingal it works ok

Highly depends how you build it I suppose. Alfred gives you access to Swordsman of Light support which you can use before Alfred Holy Saver. Also gives you access to Holy Squire against Link Joker Thing Saver gives you the ability to restand multiple times with the vanguard but eats up CB very heavily.
