I know the V series is a separate timeline, but Isabelle said the astral plane device in her library foretold doom to Cray if wars didn't stop, turns out she was right.
@@CommanderJaime This kinda falls into fanon theory, but according to the anime Uranus created Valkerion as a new deity to stop the incoming disasters; if that happened in the V timeline then the godless era happened because there's no Valkerion in the original timeline!
The power of destiny I think has connections with PSYqualia since it affects card fighters and units. I remember in G Next, Nome said that Aichi had the power to guide destiny. Maybe there was more events after the G anime.
I would find it really interesting to see if after 3,000 years of chaos and war, the Granblue Pirates gradually lost their pirating ways and become a full on embodiment of Undeath and an Underworld to the lively and prosperous Stoicheia.
Honestly, I kind of hope not. One of the few things that set apart granblue from the usual zombie.deck present in all other card games is the pirate theme. It would be like aqua force losing the marine theme, or great nature losing the scholar theme. They'd become way too thematically generic.
@@CommanderJaime while mulling over it these past few days, I tought of something interesting. What if granblue had some sort of internal schizm, with one part refusing to put down their old pirate ways, still hung up on their old sea-faring traditions, while the other chose to cooperate with megacolony wich is now in the same nation to create a unique criminal network of mutants and undead hybrids? It would also explain why the "ghostie" revealed in the promo artwork looks so "uncute" and different from all the other soft line and roundy ghostie design. He's a product of these undead-mutant experiment. The leader of the pirate faction can still be called the GrandCaptain, have a pirate theme and possibly be vampiric lineage, while the more necromancer looking units, like cocytus in the past, chose to renounce pirate life, took on a new title and created the underworld.

The lore is very intesting. I Like the part where united sanctuary literally fell into ruins (RIP Alfred) and stoicheia Just replace them being the most posperous nation. I kind of curious who owns Blaster blade rn (the weapon of Ahmes aka Blaster blade). I Just wished that vg card lores are Animated or Just be in a manga and do its own Thing. The plot, timeline and aesthethic are new and intesting except Bermuda. Speaking of it what the hell happen to Bermuda during the godless Age?

Good question on Blaster Blade, perhaps they'll reveal more details in the new sets. Perhaps a new descendant line is created or perhaps they've become relics. So much potential. Blaster blade is in a border region between keter and dragon empire with dragonic overlord the depress is guarding it and he now looks like a united sanctuary dragon as he is pure white now with RP blue
Was that page translated from Japanese sources or where did this lore come from? I've been following anything Overdress related and I haven't seen this info anywhere else. I don't know anything about the lore that happened before Overdress except the few things you mentioned during this video. Do you already have a video covering it or could you possibly make one in the future? I love lore in card games, but I started playing during the V series which basically had no new lore added to the game. Wasn't/isn't Brandt a some sort of evil being? Any ideas why did the assumably non-evil organization chose that name? Keter Sanctuary are now People of the Skies, but the main unit we've seen so far uses a horse. That doesn't feel very useful "vehicle" in sky combat... It would be cool to see some actual skyships in their roster in the future. Is Striding actually time travelling or does this only apply to Gear Chronicle specifically? Dark States is my favorite nation when it comes to aesthetics (and Spikes are my favorite clan at the moment). I hope the Dark States gets much more lore to themselves in the future, because the stuff your read in this video was pretty much only concerning Gear Chronicle and Dragon Empire...
Yes this page was from Cardfight Coalition and the link to it is in the description. I don't have prior videos on Lore from G Era and before. I'm not sure if anyone has Lore videos from that far back. I would have to ask around. Good point with the horse, unless it flies in the air somehow. Almost like a Pegasus but without the wings. Striding is having units from the future/past come into the present situation. @@Ramperdos To answer the question about Brandt, it is the main villain the manga. Its a self aware planet that wanted to take over Cray and after it was defeated Messiah purified it and it became part of Cray's population, essentially Brandt filled the role Link Joker had in the original anime. The neon Messiah movie covered the Brandt storyline where they convince Ibuki to Delete the other clans then he turns good after becoming Messiah's owner. Then the V series did the Brandt plot again because it is a retelling of the manga.
Love to find out more about the lore especially what's the future of Blaster blade , Overlord and others like . What happened to them ? In the 3000 years do they have Desendants ? Is their weapons or armour or anything about them in a museum or something ?

Head canon If the sword still exists someone will wield it and will be the new Blaster Blade. And someone who fails to wield the sword will be the new Blaster Dark.
That is a great question! I believe in the show they've made a reference that Cray's time may go faster than Earth's at one point. But I'm not too sure. Since they're doing a new art style with new characters. I'd imagine they won't have the old original characters. Unless they make some references/easter eggs ha.
So it turns out that single hero is Chrono Dran. But I wonder wtf happened to him after all those years with the ZTBs going to sleep and Stride being out of the equation. Glad thing Dragon Empire's still going strong after all those events

The Void comes in many forms (Leon, Link Joker, Gyze, etc.) The Void just keeps coming back and so I wouldn't be surprised it coming back in its many forms.
Void may just be a concept with Gyze being the physical embodiment of it. Defeating it's embodiment only lessens it's influence. So even if Gyze is destroyed the concept will still persist.
Why doesn't the Gear Chronicle of the past come and save the Gear Chronicle of the future? Edit: Also that Gear Chronicle hero is definitely Chronodran
@@quangotjokes7943 huh good question actually. I never really thought about that. In terms of the show, I imagine they just "retreat and recover". The reason I feel that way is that the Cardfighters still play more games with the same units mostly.

This should be the first reboot heck this should be how the cardgame started I mean having 24 clans to support can really take its toll on you unfortunately Bushiroad wasn't able to see this and along with the constant powercreep made many people lose interest in the cardgame
