Kliff looked awfully excited to talk to Kyler Murray, & they all looked excited to meet DK Metcalf. 🤔 I’m not sure what was up with Bidwell’s posture tho. Ha. Maybe that’s his poker face? Such a great show! I wish it was on every week!

A lot of people don’t want Murray. Basically same reaction people had towards pat mahomes with KC. I get it. But, the game has changed. The field is spread out more than ever in the NFL and the QB is protected more than ever by the rules and officiating. His size which is probably his biggest critique is less important than it was 3-5 years ago. As long as he doesn’t scramble too much, I think he’ll be fine. Unlike Baltimore’s qb whose shelf life might mirror RG3 with all the scrambling he does.

I know this was about the combine, but it’s interesting how little Rosen’s name was mentioned. In fact, I don’t think his name was mentioned at all. At 3:51 they even appeared to edit one of Kliff’s comments about him by cutting the first part off, only referencing Josh by the pronoun “he.” I’m not saying they did that intentionally, maybe they did it so the dialogue would flow better, but it’s interesting nonetheless.

Love the game? That's why we sat on our asses while Chiefs traded up and grabbed Mahomes before us. And we draft DE then change his position in the NFL. Dont be fooled but Keim missed more than he hits on his draft picks. And oh yeah we assemble our free agents that we signed who has been injured or coming off acl injury.

I have absolutely no idea if Kliff will work out (if he doesn’t, Keim will be the first one out the door), but at least he’s a better interview than Steve “we have to put players in the position to succeed (so let’s sit 1st rounders Buc and Reddick for the first several games)” Wilks. Seemed like a good guy, but Christ were he and his staff unprepared for those jobs.

Draft Murray #1! Why is everyone sold on Rosen? Murray is just as good in the pocket, lets not handcuff Kliff Kingsburry. If somehow we can get a first for Rosen preferably in the top 17, that would be a dream scenario.

Did anyone else notice the different type of environment in the room where they have prospects in the hot seat, like when the team had WO #26 (I dont know who that is) in the hot seat, everything seemed chill, dude in the back grubbing on some chips and once they had Kyler Murry (QB #11) in the hot seat, Kliff seemed all in, edge of his seat and Steve had his pen on paper. Do I think they will really consider taking Murray at #1, who knows but I for sure as a fan would not want Bosa as a Cardinal, yeah he seems like a great player and a great person but at the end of the day, you look to always find a leader to play his heart out and I just don't see Nick Bosa to take on that type of role. Opinions?

if cards pick murray 1st it will be just another bad pick of many cards have made in thier history of bad picks.

Sounds like a modern day slave trade, parading and examining human product...just on a different level where the slaves are paid and not beaten.

Robert Nkemdiche had the combine numbers but was very inconsistent. Haason Reddick had the combine #s and is a one-year wonder at temple. But he was played out of position, told to drop back in coverage when he barely did any of that it college. When you're doing this and the only tape you really have of him dropping in coverage is the senior bowl, that's not enough. I question Keim's draft choices and I still do til this day. And Keim always feels inclined to take a small school player because he feels that's his signature. Everything matters. Not just the heart and the mind. But you got to be big enough, strong enough, had a successful college career, and dont play players out of their position because you cant evaluate them anymore. Chandler Jones played RE and played ROLB. Yes he changed roles but he was asked to do the same things. Nkemdiche 4-3 DT to 3-4 DE is different. Reddick playing DE and forced to play ILB in the NFL is a big learning curve. Can't take fliers like that in the first round. Later rounds sure but 1st and 2nd rounds, no.

It still bothers me. It's not too often when you're going to find a player that doesn't love football that declared for the draft. I'm going to list some players he drafted in 2013 and 14 that never lived up to expectation 2013: RD1: Jonathan Cooper (yes injuries derailed his career but he never became the guard people expected him to be) RD2:Kevin Minter (injury prone but was a complete liability in coverage) RD6: Ryan Swope (got drafted but never touched the field bc of concussions. Retired a rookie) RD7: DC Jefferson (off-field issues had him out of the NFL as soon as he walked in) 2014: RD1: DBuc -Really only had one good season. Undersized player playing LB. After 2015, his career went downhill fast. RD2: Troy Niklas - Injury prone. Barely played RD3: Kareem Martin - a career backup. Had only one sack every season. RD4: Logan Thomas - Don't get me started RD5: Ed Stinson - Did not excel in anything. Generated very few pressures, next level of bad. RD6: Walt Powell - He was good in the preseason but was cut. Keim was really hoping he could make it to the PS

You can have the heart and the mind but if you don't have the physical traits and the production from college, then you wont succeed. Look at all the OL they draft, all have the passion but most are not strong enough and lack technique.
