Thanks everyone! I miss the candy-throwing too..... hopefully we can return to those days sometime soon. For now, socially distant candy (aka from your own kitchen) only. Enjoy the lecture!

Dr. Toft: It's so, so awesome to hear from you again! I actually grabbed the audio from your lectures, put them on my phone, and listened to one per day when driving to work (at one time, when I was working many miles away, I could clear at least 1.5 lectures). I must admit, it sucks that I can't hear you hitting students with candy.

Lol YES! And hearing that guy...how was he called...Nelson! Still remember his answer to the question hmm I think it was: "Whatya gonna do in an aortic dissection?" "CT" "And if kidney problems?" (referring to contrast) "Don't care"

Great review. Please don’t confuse the LV end-systolic & end-diastolic diameter-cut-offs in regurgitant valvular lesions. The 4 cm & 5 cm thresholds refer to the end-systolic diameter in MR & AR respectively. Thank you.

Great review! I’m a cardiology NP, so I love watching the reviews for medical students. My doc likes to use disopyramide for our HOCM patients that are symptomatic, and it works great. Love this video.

Thank you. I liked the Präsentation a lot. Im working in a Hospital in Europe and according to our guidelined before starting with ARNI we should titrate to the highest Dose of ACEI , Beta Blockers and Add MRA, and After that if the Patient is still symptomatic and the ef is below 35 we can replace the ACEI with ARNI. Could you explain to me why there is this difference in recommandation?

Hi, could it be because you’re using ESC guidelines which might not be the same as AHA/ACC guidelines used in US (that sometimes also differ from our, Canadian, CCS guidelines)?

Jumping to a highly invasive test like angiography in a patient like Q2 will never be the correct answer despite cardiologists always pushing for it.
