The subsinuosal interventricular groove (sulcus interventricularis subsinuosus) is formerly known as the right, dorsal, or caudal longitudinal sulcus. It is a short, straight, shallow furrow that marks, on the dorsocaudal surface of the heart, the approximate position of the interventricular septum.
