You haven’t lost it waiting to use all your tools Simon!!! Loved your Video!!! Card tip that was my favorite was the the redoing the banner into something completely different!!
Hi Simon, I’m a new subscriber and just love your channel. When inking a large stamp and adding details like different colors, how do you prevent your ink from drying before you have had a chance to stamp the image onto card stock? Another question regarding inks, what’s the difference between different ink types? For example, I saw you used dye ink and archival inks. So far, I am really enjoying your channel. Where can we purchase supplies that other companies make and the products you created? Thank you very much! I love making cards, but I haven’t created any in awhile due to a chronic illness. Do you have any coupon codes? I’m on disability and don’t have much of any type of expendable income to do what I love. Sorry for bombarding you with so many questions. Have a wonderful day! - Tina
Masking off the sentiment and creating more detail to the background is genius. I've always thought it was too late, but with this tip, it's never too late. Tank you!🙂
Thanks for reminding me that I can use my stencils to “lift” the color up with water reactive inks. I’ve totally forgotten that technique. Will use it again today!! 👍🏼
I never can choose one favorite because I enjoy learning the different hacks you share with us! Loved the ombre, the water over the stencil, the banner/sentiment hack and of course your great background stamp. Your craft room is looking great, you'll get back into the creative swing of things now that you're unpacking and into your new space.
You are incredible! The cards are always beautiful. They are not all that hard to do, but they have an extra something that make them so appealing. I wish I could fussy cut like you do.
Great setup in your new craft room - excellent video quality, and I like the portrait depth of field mode. My fav is the “thanks so much…” banner die cut and the finished card, the ink painting really took it up a notch and gave the banner good depth!
Oh my goodness you are adorable. So glad you have your beautiful new craft space. Thanks so much for all the tips and tricks. Always learn so much from you.
Hello Simon, I realize that this is a late to the game and I was like two years old but I am just now seeing your channel and loving it so I’m kind of binge watching you so to speak! 😁 anyway that is one beautiful, gorgeous, amazing card… And so simple thank you for showing me how to simplicity can be beautiful! I can’t wait to get started with all my card making ideas!
I enjoyed your video… you’ve come a looonnnggg way since I first saw you. Your creativity and product knowledge as well as your entrepreneurial pursuits has grown to the point of earning the respect of long-time stampers, card makers, your fellow RU-vid videographers, and, yes, even me. I really like your inks and the background stamps that feature sections to stamp separately. Thanks for sharing your creativity and useful tips. Have a great day! 🙂
I love the last card, the banner shading was perfect. I also love taking a few images from the background stamp and emphasize them with the light shading, beautiful card.
It was because of you that I bought those frisk scissors. Huge help for me. With having arthritis it makes a big difference for cutting. It's those little tips that help the most. I'm surprised you didn't hang your inks on the walls. Someday I hope to have mine all set up.
So glad to see you in your new craft space! The cards are really, really nice. Love to see your wonderful ideas and the outcomes are impressive. Thank you for sharing, Simon. 🥰
i loved your video. it's the first time that I stop by your channel but when you said Gina K. your catch my attention. thank you for your video. I really enjoyed it.
I love the blue ombré color blending! Also, I love your new craft space! It looks very neat and tidy and makes a great backdrop! Keep posting your awesome tips and tricks!
I have a Jack Russel that Has the same hobby as your dog, car watching and barking. No problem. Anyone who has a dog understands. Love your channel. Keep being creative.
Since blue is my favorite color, I of course liked the first card best, but the Fall card was gorgeous too! I chuckled when you smooshed the ink on the left side of your work (for shading the banner). It's the same premise as putting the ink pad on the right! Old habits are hard to break! Can hardly wait for your new craft room tour!
Your new craft space is definitely a winner Simon. Congrats. Love this tips video. I also love both cards, how does one choose a favourite when they are completely different to each other and both awesome. 😍
I love them both.. you are always my favorite .. you explain everything so well.. it makes me feel more confident to try the techniques you share.. even when mine is a flop I re watch you and try again.. lots of smiles
Awesome video, Simon. Congrats on the completion of your new craft room. I bet you’re thrilled. Would love to see the rest of your room. I loved all the cards and ideas.
There is something about block stamping vs the Misti tool that I like watching for some reason. I like the sound you get when you lift up your stamp - quirky I know, but just thought of it while watching your video. Don't get me wrong, love my Misti, but love using blocks too - I need to get some of yours with the lines - I have a couple, but really like the longer rectangular one you have for sentiments! Great video. Off to see if you posted a room tour yet. I have missed watching lately.
Your new space looks wonderful. How cool that Gina K sent some stamps. I love the first card you made. So pretty. I do really like the background stamp too.
Yea Simon, Who is maker of your crafting “desk” (perhaps custom top over cabinets?). Also…agree with u on nice newer large sentiments for fast cards…can u suggest som,e others?
I love how neat and orderly your craft room looks! As for the cards, the first one is my favorite (Did you buff off the embossed area to brighten it up? It came out so clean looking!), but the hack for masking off the banner sentiment is so clever. I also think the background stamps with the removable elements are so ingenious.
Hi Simon, This was my first time watching you as well as first time coming across one of your videos. I live in The Rainforest in Costa Rica so it’s very difficult to get craft supplies here as well as super expensive when one comes across something, which isn’t very often, so I always bring a ton of stuff back with me from the states. I LOVED EVERYTHING!! What did I like the best? Very difficult to choose, but I would definitely say the first one on making an ombré look, soo cool 😎. Then placing the masking over the saying and spritzing with water over the stencil was brilliant! Also, i loved the inking effects you did with the banner. You had so many wonderful tips, I truly enjoyed watching and listening to you, you have a fantastic clear voice and give such wonderful explanations and tips as you go. Usually when I’m watching someone, I’m going “come on already, quit beating the horse to death and move on” because they constantly repeat over and over what they are doing but you, my new friend, was awesome 🤩 !!! My mouth dropped open when you started popping elements out of the stamps, 😆 that was a first for me, I have never seen a stamp like that, GENIUS!!! I so look forward to watching more of your videos, Sorry I am unable to comment on your craft room since I knew nothing about you before except it was clean. I look forward to seeing you again……and I didn’t hear your dog, but if he was chiming in, it too would have been a welcoming sound. I love animals and animal people 💕. Blessings to you and your fur baby!!
I love your videos! You have a good way of explaining things. I am just starting out on my stamping journy again I should say because many many years ago I had a huge collection of rubberstamps from phantasia but I stoped using them because it was so hard to see if the image was lining up. Now with the transparent stamps that's not a problem anymore and that makes me so happy! Thank you for all your great advice and entertaining videos and I hope you will continue doing what you're doing for a very long time!
The new craft room looks great! I really like that you aren’t a slave to a stamp. If cutting it apart makes it more useful for you, then cut away. Honestly, it’s not as if you can’t put it back together 😉. Somehow I missed that fall background stamp. (Silly me) I enjoy the background stamps that have elements that you can drop out and then use as accent pieces. Great video. ♥️
