Codger Biker connects Cardo bluetooth audio to his Insta360 X2 - rough and ready edit... (Note: Spirit version of the Cardo app does not have audio record to phone - yet) T-Shirt: teespring.com/...
I hope your shoulders are doing better. Thank you for the information. I suspected that I could use Cardo to connect to my Insta360 and you just confirmed it. 👍🏼😎
Hi, how did you manage to do that? My x3 just can't see the Cardo spirit hd. I tried both in gps prescription mode and normal connection mode. Still can't see it((( Please help me
@@texpod_7937 Sorry for the delay in replying. I just did as in the video, nothing strange... You turn on the Cardo, press the left button until it goes into pairing mode, and then press it again to put it in "GPS" mode. Then, in the Insta 360, select "AirPods" and hit Spirit HD. Important... If you move 5 metres away from the Insta360 there will be interference with the headset microphone.
Hello, thanks for sharing this tips. I have not a Insta 360 (yet...)and I am searching for tips to record audio. I found your nice video and I wonder if using my Cardo 2+, it will workd. However, I have a question about using the Intercom as mic : connecting the intercom to the camera, does it means that the intercom can not play music anymore ? (connected to my smartphone) ? With this setting, can you still listen to music ? I would like to record my voice, but wants to keep listen to my music while I ride... I also hope your shoulder got better and you can ride again soon ;)
Hello, thanks for nice comments. I do not know is my only answer. I never listen to music or Cellphone on my bike. Also there seems to be much variation between Cardo models, software updates etc. Only thing to do is try it and see. Good luck. 👍
@@CodgerBiker None of us do mate. But up here, winter means salty roads regardless. So I'd rather it was bright and fresh than dull and soggy any day of the week!
Great video, thanks!!!! Only for information (and possible discussion) I'm trying with my Freecom 2x and a insta360 X3 and it's not working either with phone1, phone2, GPS or bike connection on Cardo. X3 can't find any bluetooth device.
I've been trying to get my Freecom 4x working with the Insta360 X4. Pretty sure they've made these new units so that they don't work together on purpose -.- Great video though, gave me a few different things to try that I hadn't thought of.
As the title suggests, it's just a hack for the X2. It didn't work with my previous (even cheaper) headset. BUT X4 show it used with headsets in their adverts. I'd hoped they might have made it easy and universal. Maybe the next firmware update... good luck 👍
I have managed it. It’s a different thing to this. Basically (if I have you right) you want to record yourself and your dad on the camera. You need a splitter, an attenuator, and a breakout lead. It is confusing. I did manage to do it. I followed TeapotOne’s video for that. See link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W1-uY381KQ0.htmlsi=ogqejy7_6v3Xzm3W
Actually Insta is currently working on this with Cardo and Sena. The Ace Pro and Ace via updates now work with both manufacture’s headsets. The X models should follow shortly.
